Alen T500 - Very loud

We bought this to replace one of the other units we had (T100) that started making a whistling noise because the back vent wouldn't sit properly (it was 6+ year old). We use it at night as white noise. The T500 is very loud even on the lowest setting and is quite annoying and not soothing like the other units we have. If you're using during the day I would say it's fine, but again, it is quite loud. It's also much taller than the T100 which made it look awkward up on my husband's nightstand where he likes to keep it. We ended up stealing my son's T100 and giving him the T500 because he is a very heavy sleeper and it didn't seem to bother him.

Steady Workhorse

I've had my T500 (or the may be a previous model) for over 4 years now and it works like a champ. I keep it running 24 hrs./day, 365 days/year and have not had any problems with it. Most importantly, this unit delivers as promised, so long as you clean the pre-filter, periodically, and replace the filter as the manufacturer suggests. I've recommended this to friends and they've had similar, excellent results.

T150 Air cleaner

This air cleaner has made a world of difference in our home. Everything is staying clean, the floors, the furnature, and the air. We have 4 cats and it has never been better.

The Alen T500 is amazing!

A few weeks ago I began using the the Alen T500 in the master bedroom. I have allergies and asthma that are often aggravated by cat fur from our two adorable felines. We have poor air circulation in this room, and we have to keep the door closed to prevent the cats from waking us up at night. Before using the T500, the air in this room was stuffy and smelled like dust. Now when we wake up the air smells fresh and clean, and I have been a lot less congested. I've also noticed significant improvement in my asthma symptoms. The T500 is compact and very quiet, and I'd highly recommend it to everyone.

Fur Family and BreathSmart - Love them!

I love my Alen air purifiers! I have three (two Fur-Family and one Alen BreathSmart). I don’t have allergies but I wanted air purifiers to freshen the air in my three story townhouse. I hated walking in the door to the smell of the last meal I cooked. I use one in the entry way on the first floor, one (Alen BreathSmart) in my living/kitchen area on the second floor and the other in my bedroom on the third floor. I have even temporarily moved one of the Fur-Family air purifiers into my walk-in-closet to freshen-up the air. My home smells fresh and these air purifiers make the room feel cooler due to the extra air circulation.

Cleans the air!

We have a den that’s stays shut up with two cats in it at night. It’s stuffy but this purifier has made it so much fresher. It’s pretty quiet.
