The filter runs very quietly but there is a strong unusual odor that the device emits whenever the filter is powered up.

Best Air Purifier for its price on the Market

This filter worked flawless for a year but then it stopped working after a power outage. Alen replaced it free of charge and I couldn't be happier. This is the second replacement they've done for me….the other was for an A350 that lasted me 8 years. I will NEVER buy another purifier that is NOT an Alen brand. Just the lifetime warranty alone is awesome, but the purifiers are Fantastic, easily operated and handled……and as a bonus, they're sleek and stylish. This is one of 3 purifiers I have from them….the best is the BreatheSmart but that's considerably more expensive but I needed it for the biggest room in my house.

Great unit

I can't believe what this unit pulled out of air in my bedroom once I set it up. It's hard to believe all of the particles in the air. I am thinking about getting a smaller unit for other rooms in the house.
There is a vast difference between this one and an old one that I have had for years.

Works a charm!! We had a large, continuously dusty bedroom, needed almost daily cleaning of surfaces and carpet. Not any more! After only a few days the T500 effectively reduced the dust level to where a once a week dusting is needed. Amazing performance for such a small-looking machine.

Again, the air purifier was bought for and delivered to someone other than myself. I cannot review it. I own an earlier Alen product which I still have and use and with which I remain very satisfied.
