Simple feature packed watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moved on to the Galaxy watch 4. My Gear S3 was still working well after 3 years and was used to the Samsung ecosystem. This watch really focuses on core requurements very well.... Phone, messages, health, music, weather. Enjoying the intutive interface.

What I Needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the watch and the many features. It is also great that updates are frequent as user data is integrated to increase the efficiency of the watch features. Unfortunately I do not have a Samsung phone, so I can't use the ECG feature. I look forward to updates to be able to do so. I have only ever had watch fitness bands before. This is my first foray into smart watch territory. I don't know how to compare it to other smart watches, but compared to fitness bands, this is a vast improvement. I don't love the battery life, but this is coming from fitness bands that can last for several weeks on one charge. Overall, this watch has the features that I have been looking for in a smart watch: SPO2, ECG, changing the HR frequency of measurements, GPS, detection if a sudden change in movement or direction to send an alert to a predestined phone number (this is great because I mountain bike), and the price isn't awful. :)

A nice upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to upgrade from my Fit 3. In general I enjoy the mic on the watch But you lost me or answer phone calls from my wrist. Other species are nice upgrades but not required.

Great watch but software needs some attention

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the design and features but Samsung needs to work on its health app. Sleeping tracking is not consistent. When I use other apps it records even a 30 minute nap during the day Samsung app does not. Also it stops tracking hearth rate at the gym in the middle of the session. Comparing to watch active 2 - no BP lab 2.0 available :-(

Kept Overheating and Shutting Down

I only had the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for a few days before I had to return it. It kept flashing the message that it needed to "cool down," and then the watch would shut off completely. This happened repeatedly, and the battery lasted a total of 6 hours AT MOST. The least amount of battery life was 2 hours, and this was after I made sure all the unnecessary apps were turned off.
Although I love the look of the watch and the band is comfortable, all else utterly failed.
