Had this watch for over a year now. I never receive notifications to the watch have missed many text messages and phone calls. Battery life is worthless. It will just randomly turn off. Needs some serious improvements!!

In less than a month I have had to return my watch and order a new one 4 times whichis ridiculous.
#1 The battery life is horrible in 5 min it will go from 100% to 91% not even using anything just leaving it alone.
#2 IT OVER HEATS I can't make a phone call because 1 min into the phone call I get a warning that my phone is overheated and it automatically goes into airplane mode and it turns off which is annoying.
#3 Can't use any of the app because it will totally consume the battery life to 0%.
I got this watch as a birthday present from my husband and so far I'm really disappointed with Samsung is the worst watch ever. All 3 watches that the battery life was crap and they all overheated just order my 4th one and if it's the same you can be sure I'm not buying it again.
I HOPE THEY FIX THIS because so far I'm really frustrated and disappointed with how this watch came out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This watch isn't worth the money. Battery life stinks. It seems like Apple watches are 100% better with way better features, and this is coming from a andriod user.

Have enjoyed the original Galaxy watch now for about 4 years. It was starting to look a little worn, so decided to freshen up with a new stainless steel silver face Watch 4 with gray band.. Unfortunately, battery lasts for aonly about a day with LTE whereas the original lasted almost four days! My favorite watch faces are not transferable nor are ringtones and other personal favorites. Sending it back. I'm not charging my watch every day. Also the band flares where it meets The Watch, and thus, does not fit as comfortably on the wrist. Pretty to look at, but unlike tic watch and even the original Galaxy Watch, you'll now have to keep the charger with you. No thanks.

My Galaxy Active 2 was superior in all ways

I am comparing this to my 2 gen old Galaxy Watch Active 2 running Tizen: 1. Active 2 had superior battery life 2. Active 2 had superior watch faces (why wouldn't you just port over the old ones???) 3. Watch 4 is Glitchy, incomplete 4. Watch 4 will not connect to Google Fit nor Wear OS (Watch not found) 5. Watch 4 has an average of 1.5 updates per week. Plan on being a beta tester. 6. I haven't been able to get any of the "astounding new" features to work - ECG, Stress, Blood Oxygen level, Body composition. 7. Missing basic features, like there is no way to have the watch sound out each mile time like the Active 2 - it just tells you the total time at every mile so I'm trying to do math in my head to guesstimate my mile times. AVOID THIS WATCH. There are far superior options out there, namely an older Galaxy Watch or Garmin. I am a Google and Android fan and have many, many Samsung products but this one is a total letdown. I used to think Tizen was junk but this Wear OS implementation is far worse.

I bought the Galaxy Watch 4 and returned it 10 days later. The battery died every day around 3pm - couldn't make it through my work day. I have had the Galaxy Activ2 for over a year and after a full day, it still has 60-70% of the battery left. I used both watches exactly the same - couldn't believe the new model couldn't keep up with the old. Is it the new operating system?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Samsung galaxy watch and this watch blows that one away! It's great to see all the features this watch has to offer. I am so happy that I upgraded. You cannot go wrong with a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.

Not bad, but the battery sucks

I've had this watch for a little more than a month now, and I've got only two complaints. First, the sleep monitor is off. Sometimes it says I'm sleeping if I've just been sitting. Even if I'm moving my arms. Fitbit was WAY better at sleep tracking. And second but honestly the biggest problem, the battery life is absolute garbage. It's supposed to last up to 40 hours. I don't know how, unless you literally only use it in watch mode for those hours. I have it connected to my phone for notifications, do not have wifi or NFC on, and have it wake when I move my wrist, but that's it. I literally do nothing else on it and I have to charge it every day. It's a good watch with a lot of features though so if you don't mind popping on the charger every day (I charge mine while I shower) this is a great watch.
