Disappointing --- I had a S3 Frontier that I loved for all the reasons the 4 is disappointing. The battery did not last long --- maybe 24 hours, a couple of times less than a complete 24 hours v. the S3 lasting 2 to 3 days. Made the mistake of buying the smallish 40 mm --- harder to see some messages. The functionality of the watch was limited as multiple buttons on a smallish the watch face. The close proximity of the watch buttons made it difficult to use and I my fingers are not large at all.. KEY: WATCH STOPPED WORKING IT as it will no longer turn on!!!! And no I never used it swimming as some others indicated in their reviews, heck didn't wear it in the shower!. Also, had some challenges getting it to synch with my Samsung phone. I will be returning this S4 watch and see if I can buy a new S3 Frontier to replace it. Very disappointing. I have owned multiple Samsung products and wanted to continue to do so. But a bit concerned given my experience with this product.

Stopped charging within 3 months

The watch stopped charging inside of 3 months.
The only option is to send the watch in to be inspected. It should be under warranty, but the fine print on the return label says that it might not be, and if they decide that it isn't - then I have to pay more money to get my almost brand new watch fixed and sent back to me.
Dissatisfied with the product quality and the options given to resolve the issue.

I had the first samsung classic watch and the battery lasted for about 4 days but this one has a terrible battery life that barely last for 2 days with me working out everyday. I did a spartan race for 2 hours with a little bit over 50% of battery and the watch died after an hour ish.. .

I received the watch as a Christmas present. It started out great then after about 3 months, all of a sudden, the watch would buzz and then I would get the word Samsung across the face. No clock, just the word Samsung. This would happen every couple of seconds. It would buzz then the word Samsung. I couldn't shut the watch down; it wouldn't take a charge. I had to leave it sit for a few days. Then I was able to recharge it. This has happened twice. Now, the charge on the watch doesn't last an entire day. I really wanted this to be a great watch, but sadly, I'm disappointed with it.

Samsung, get your watches working

This watch is laughable. My phone randomly started doing an update but I needed the map feature for navigation and of course it didn’t work. The battery is trash. I have to have it paired to my phone or on airplane mode if I want it to last the day. Honestly, I wish I had done my research. If you’re reading this, hopefully it isn’t too late. Wait until Samsung improves their watches. Sigh.

Hi Jmac, thank you for your feedback on your Galaxy Watch4. We are happy to provide support for your battery concerns with some helpful links below. Thank you again for your feedback and being a valued Samsung user.
For a "fitness tracker" with swim detection, this watch does a terrible job for any water protection. Owned this watch for less than a year and started malfunctioning. Not aware of the problem initially, watch was sent it for repair to only be told that the warranty does not protect against water damage. So either pay up for the repair or get the watch back broken.
