I have a Samsung Galaxy watch 2 but it's been stuck on reboot mode for the last 5 months. I decided to treat myself with the Watch 4. The look on the Watch 4 is nice. The band is nice. I like how you can mix match the watch and band.
The face watch options on the Watch 4 are awful. There are very limited free and useful face watch. The free options won't allow you to make too many adjustments to it unless you purchase the premium upgrade. There are multiple apps you can download to change the face of your watch, but those app has limited free options. Most options you have to pay. The free ones tends to not work or freezes or does not install properly. Everytime you download a face watch app, you have to download it on your phone and watch. I dont get why I pay so much for this watch and in return have to spend money to pick a different face watch. This was not the case for the Watch 2. This watch is complete crap compare to the Watch 2. I would avoid buying this. I'm very upset I bought this. I've never been so disappointed with a Samsung product.

I really like this watch. I've had it for nearly 2 months. However, I would like to make 1 request. Can Samsung make a Bluetooth receiver that can be attached to my shoe or leg? Why, since the Galaxy 4 already records steps? Because it's not really great at it if you use a rollator walker (a walker with wheels). I am disabled and need a rollator to walk any distance. When I hold on to the handle, my arm doesn't have the natural swing of a regular person. It is holding the rollator's handle tightly. Also, my gait is too steady when I use the rollator. Therefore my arm and body remains too steady to help accurately record steps. I've missed as many as a couple thousand steps on the Galaxy 4 compared with a traditional pedometer attached to my body. I really need the watch's pedometer to be more accurate for those of us who need to use a rollator.

I have the Samsung watch 4 coming from a Garmin Tactix Charlie and the Samsung is absolute trash battery is terrible it's loaded with crappy bloatwear that you can not delete or uninstall HR sensor isn't accurate i do not suggest this at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this watch for myself along with a few others as gifts at Christmas. I have worn it everyday since. I no longer wear my Fitbit Versa 3. The watch is big and shows off brightly colored faces and bands well. Its ECG reading even literally saved my life by detecting abnormal and even absent heart rhythm only to learn after being discharged from the hospital that I had suffered three heart attacks caused by my blood pressure dropping too low. Had it not been for the watch, I would've waited to call 911 and go to the ER and would've been dead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Impossible to get support

Bought the watch a week ago to replace a Galaxy Active 2. The clasp tore off 2 days into ownership. Can't get anyone to help me get a replacement and I'm not shipping my watch in for "service" to replace a watch strap that I was told is covered under warranty. It seems like the easiest route is to return the watch. I will not be getting a replacement as the battery life is horrendous.

Not worth the price!!

Watch died on me a few times (within a couple hours after fully charged), I had it for 2 weeks til I had to send it back. I liked some of the features but the bad outweighed the good. The bezel also stopped working a couple times, had to power off and on to get it back working. And won't charge from a 3rd party charger.

I was gifted with this watch and I think it looks great but there are some things that I think could be improved:
1. The strap makes it look like bigger than it should be. It lessens the professional look of the watch. I think the old GW3's strap is much better as looks more professional.
2. Wish you could have a gunmetal color for the watch body - I believe the Samsung Gear sport had that color and it's really nice. I like the look on the gear sport and I wish you would have such color in the next generation.
3. I wanted to have a smartwatch that could look as a dress watch (slim and has a chrome look including the bezel). Please create one for the next generation. The GW4 Classic is too thick for a dress watch. Please make this possible
