Sleek but slack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a loyal galaxy user. I've only used Samsung for the past few years. I previously owned the galaxy watch active 2 and I had a better experience with the previous watch than I did this watch. I did like the upgraded Bixby features and designs, however I felt a significant downgrade in battery life. My previous watch would last nearly 2 days from one charge, but this one didn't even last 24 hours for me. I expected more from the galaxy watch4.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please make a feature to rotate the screen.

I like to primarily wear mine on the underside of my right wrist as its more comfortable for wear and for toggling. But the screen stays sideways that way. The screen rotates freely when you are holding it while it is on the charger, but not when it is on your wrist. An option to freely rotate or to have it face up when its under your right or left wrist would make this perfect. Side note: the design could be more streamlined.

I love that it has a stand alone media app. But the ear buds signal from the watch cuts in and out (sucks). Love the classic look but it is much smaller than the original. In my opinion some people Love bigger watches.

Amazing watch

The Google Maps integration is a huge thing for me because it means I no longer need to keep my phone out while on a walk somewhere. The watch is also very smooth, in comparison to my old Gear S2. All in all, it's a great watch for anyone who wants a WearOS watch with the latest and greatest.

Awesome upgrade

I have had this watch in the pink gold for over a month and I LOVE it! I had the active 2 and this one is so much faster, has more features, options & google play store. There are a ton of watch faces & apps to choose from to customize. The app makes customization simple and I love the upgrades to the sleep data, the snore detection & blood oxygen monitoring. It also does a nice job with the heart rate, stress monitor and all the fitness options. I like that it auto detects workouts. This watch is fantastic, I do HOPE we get google assistant in an update soon though. The battery life for me is about the same, I was hoping we would get better battery life (I don’t use AOD & I close apps) but it certainly isn’t a reason not purchase this watch…I am VERY happy with it! Samsung did an awesome job with this in my opinion
