This was a birthday present for our 14 year old son in December 2022, immediate charging issues, sent back for repair (not replacement repair). It came back a week later and still only makes it through 7 hours with luck - that is with all features, GPS, wifi etc..etc.. turned off. The main reason for the purchase was the GPS & LTE phone capabilities (so his Samsung phone could be left at home) - and we can't use that ! Also the build quality is very cheap, screen scratched in 2nd day - All 5 of us are Samsung users, phones, Galaxy watch (originals) - I recently got a watch pro which is great.. But am exceptionally disappointed in this watch 4 - garbage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waste of your money

Terrible!! Complete wash of money! very disappointed! I used this watch for bare minimum functions due to short battery life. Then my watch screen turned pink and then flickering pink and white. Now I can't see any display most of the time just in 13 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice Proof!

I've had my galaxy watch 4 for a little over a year and I love it! I am a very scatterbrained individual and this winter I misplaced my watch. I live in the north with lots of snow and freezing temperatures. It turns out I dropped my watch outside in the driveway on a snowy day and it disappeared under the fresh powdery snow unbeknown to me. When I realized I was missing it a few days later I tore apart the house looking for it for an entire week! I ended up finding it a week and 2 days later when it finally got warm enough to melt the ice in the driveway and I found it encrusted in the ice! I chiseled it out and let it dry for 24hrs and it STILL WORKS! It wasn't even damaged from I'm sure multiple vehicles driving on it. Thank you Samsung!

Extremely bad battery life.

Nice looking, most of the features are helpful. However, the greatest negative is it’s battery performance. I have to recharge at least twice a day. The battery saver mode did not do much good. Not happy.
