Very disappointing

I was hoping this was the watch I had been waiting for, a fully-featured compact LTE sports watch. On paper it is, unfortunately, it does not make the grade. First, battery life is terrible, you cannot run a half marathon listening to music without the battery running down. I have not had a single day where the watch hasn't requested to go into power-saving mode because the battery is critically low. Second, its tracking is terrible, it seems incapable of accurately measuring a mile, giving ridiculous pace notifications. It was so bad I wore my old Garmin on my other arm as a reference, the watch4 is so far off it's demotivating on a run. Lastly, the bezel is not holding up at all it is all scratched and nicked after a month of light wear. is not very durable, iI wanted to love this watch, but Samsung has way overpromised and underdelivered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not good at all

I had the original galaxy watch then the galaxy watch active 2. The active 2 was my favorite. Decided to upgrade to the galaxy watch 4 because it just looked nice. However, it was not at all worth upgrading. I’ve decided to switch to apple and have the series 7 watch which I like so much more. Drawback, I had to switch to an apple phone in order to get it. Still a Samsung fan but just not with the galaxy watch 4.

I've had this watch for 5 months and have only used it for casual purposes. Put it on the charger before bed, it lit up the charging indicator. Took it off the charger in the morning and it's completely dead! None of the fixes I researched will turn this p o s on! I tested the charger and it works, so really no explanation for this complete failure. I have never had a galaxy watch that died! I'm past the return window and am sending it in for repair. Will never but another Samsung watch! Total disappointment.

Disappointed in the watch

I upgraded to this watch, and I wish I would not have. The extra features are nice, but I question the accuracy of the step counter and exercise options. I work out daily, I do the same things every week. The watch is never consistent with steps, even when I run. It does not sync with mapmyrun, or any under armor sites. Therefore, it will not sync with my insurance. Which, since the steps are inconsistent and inaccurate, I am not sure I even want to sync to insurance.

I bought the watch because I thought Samsung was a great product. I received the watch, charged it and in 3 hours of doing nothing but wearing it the battery had to go on power save mode. I thought I got a bad watch, it happens. So ordered another one, same issue. I am not sure how Samsung thinks they.can offer an inferior product and expect people to continue to support them.
DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH!!!!

Worse then Apple on proprietary

Little customizing features. Customization is more about the face then the app capablility. And even then it cost money to get good faces.
My real issues are -
- google chat not availabe (randomly shows up as notification but no app to actually use it)
-facebook messenger not available (same as above)
-messengers available have to be made as default on both the watch and your phone (so if you use facebook messenger as your default text in general will not work except as instantanous notifications that will go away after you wave your arm the wrong way)
-picture text dont show up correctly and require downloading vs apple watches which will download automatically (to tell the truth apple watchs will do all the feature above that this watch cant).
-cant switch bixby for google assistant or any other assistant. Cant disable it either.
-samsung has 5 different yet similar apps and tiles for heath that do the same thing and they cant be uninstalled or disabled.
I am usually a huge samsung supporter, but this product leaves alot of room for improvement. I will be pawning the watch.
