I recently purchased item and I love it compared to my old Galaxy active watch 2. This one is way better and sound no static when talking on watch and can hear other person much clearer and volume is perfect. I also love the ECG option too. Band is very comfortable for me too. Easy to set up and go. I never miss a call now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are a apple migrant like I am, you are probably going to be disappointed with this watch. The battery life is horrible. Even in power saving mode.
I do like how it tracks my sleep patters and all other features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice looking watch, with some minor issues

I used Samsung Galaxy watches since I bought the original Galaxy Watch in 2018. I bought the 42mm version because I don't like having a huge watch on my wrist, and the 42mm was still larger than any watch I had owned in the past. It had great battery life and I came to love the features, especially the alerts, ability to answer calls and respond to text messages, and the step/fitness tracking, even though I wasn't that active.
When the Watch 3 came out I decided to upgrade because it was a little thinner than the original watch, but still had all the features and apps I liked, including the physical bezel. I got the 41mm, which was the equivalent size to my original Galaxy Watch. It got a little less battery, but I could still get at least 30 hours out of it, meaning I could use it all day, including for sleep tracking, and then charge it while getting ready in the morning.
When I upgraded my Galaxy Phone to the S22 Ultra I noticed that I could add on a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for no charge. I decided to get the 42mm Watch 4 Classic, which was the equivalent to the Watch 3 version I already had. I liked the idea of using Wear OS and having BP measurement (if that is ever made available in the US). However, after using the smaller Watch 4 Classic for a little over a week, I found that the battery didn't even last 20 hours, and usually much less than that, even using the exact same features as on my Watch 3. As a result I sent it back.
Since the battery life was so bad on the smaller watch I decided to try out the larger version. However, after trying out the 46mm Watch 4 Classic side by side with the 44mm Watch 4 in a store, I decided that the larger Watch 4 Classic was just to large and heavy, especially for wearing for sleep tracking, so went with the 44mm Watch 4, to get the larger battery. That has turned out to work for me. With this version I can now get about the same battery life as on my smaller Watch 3. That allows me to wear it during the day and overnight and only charge it while showering in the morning. I'm finding as I get older I'm appreciating the readability of the larger screen vs. my earlier Galaxy Watches. I find the new Wear OS versions of the apps took a little getting used to, but now I find them more convenient than the Tizen versions.
My only quibbles with this watch are the charging cable and the band. The charging cable that comes with this is just inconvenient. It's too short to use it with a charging cube in the wall and be able to place it on an end table or my desk. I could use it with my computer, but that's also less than convenient. I really preferred the charging dock that came with the original watch. It can be used with any USB cable, so I can use whatever length I need. Fortunately, I still have the charging dock with the first watch, and it seems to work with this one, but I think Samsung should go back to that design.
I got the ridge sport band with this watch, and while I like the look and feel of it, I don't like the extra curved part next to the watch on these. I makes the band stick out from the sides of the watch, making it seem larger than it already is. The watch is big enough without having the band make it look larger. My other issue with the band is the loops. Since the band is so smooth, the loops tend to slide down off the end of the band as I wear it. It would help if there were little tabs under the loops, or some over way, to keep them over the end of the band rather than slipping off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had fitbits for years and decided to switch to the galaxy ... it was totally a bad call. Even though fitbit doesn't have all the features I want in a smart watch, the galaxy is a waste of money. My watch face is nothing fancy, I don't do much on my watch, yet I have to charge it every single day. My fitbit legit lasted 4 days before needing charged.

It does not stay charged for even 6 hours without having to plug it in. Ive tried even keeping it it on energy save mode and it still cant even stay charged! Ridiculous! I wish I would have done my research a bit more because I'm not the only one complaining about this issue. Wish I never bought it!
