My second one and I love it!

This case has daved my phone and screen I don't know HOW MANY times after dropping it every which way. I've had multiple hand SURGERIES with plates and screws in them and they are both pretty weak so I've tested this case out more times than I can begin to count. Absolutely NO damage ever to my previous phone in over 3+ years of dropping it on every corner, face and side. We just both updated and and got new phones with more memory and would only buy the same Otterbox case for each of them also. Love our new phones and cases and yes, (Thank you Otterbox), these are also being drop tested already and holding up perfectly as I knew they would :-). Bless you for making such an amazing product that is even better than advertised!

Used to LOVE Defender Case

Otterbox discontinued the clear cover that goes over the screen of the phone. Not cool. With how easily phone screen crack, it's not a good decision. I returned the case and purchased a different one from another vendor, WITH the protective clear plastic over the screen.

After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases. That being said, that case is totally compatible with Amplify and Alpha Glass if you're looking to add an extra level of protection to your device. We're bummed to hear that you returned your case and went with a different protection option, but we hope to see you back in the OtterBox family in the future!
