I think this could be a great addition to for a kitchen. However the operation is very difficult to accomplish. The operating manual is very poorly written not complete and sadly we will never get the full use of it in our newly remodeled kitchen. If I could replace it without all the expense l would!!

By microwave was beautiful and a great concept only worked for one day. They came out to repair it. And now it has worked for one month and that has stopped working again.

We purchased this drawer microwave as a result of remodeling our kitchen and replacing all of the appliances. We purchased this product from an appliance store and were influenced by our designer to install a drawer microwave. We really liked the idea of a drawer microwave and the sensor that opens the unit with simply a wave of your hand. Unfortunately, we were so focused on the measurements and the need to have the cabinet built to accommodate the unit, that we missed that the unit only delivers 900 watts. After installation, we noticed that none of the food items were being sufficiently cooked. Realizing that almost all food products require 1100 watts, we realized our mistake and wished that we had not purchased this product. Having to guess how much longer to set the run time to ensure proper heating, has resulted in a lot of issues.

Plug in and its says enjoy. I set the time, draw wont open. I close the panel and then open...Enjoy......set he time. I do this 5 times. Draw still wont open Start doesn't work. After unpluging it twice and trying to get it to work it went dark and its now dead!!!!! You would think after 20 years Sharp (the inventer of the draw!!!!) could make a product that works. This is the 20th 1 star review. $2000+ for a hunk of crap.

Underpowered as noted by many - won't even do 'microwave popcorn'. Terrible WiFi setup which is lost when the power goes out, grilling / toasting is a joke, and now after 18 months it broken so I'm leaving the brand. Massive waste of $$$.

Very disappointed. Firstly the MW oven does not heat quickly. I need 3+ minutes to heat water for tea, and even then it is not hot. After some research I discovered it is only a 900Watt MW, I am use to at least 1200. Next the wave technology for opening does not work consistently. I have to open the panel each time I need to get into the oven. I have to question why these oven do not come with a circulating plate like just about every other MW I have ever owned. I read the instructions very carefully because of the supposed ability to make toast in it. It does not make toast, it makes warmer, but still white bread with an odd firmness to the bread. I thought that there must be something wrong with the oven, so I sent it back and received another only to find out that ,...that is just how they are, even if they are the #1 rated MW. I am going to send this back and order an oven that it 1200-1500 watts.

Really nice looking with a ton of neat features. Toast leaves a LOT to be desired - takes 6 minutes and bread/bagels are barely browned. Would be nice to actually toast quickly. Have not tried all of the features yet. Working with SHARP to investigate why the control panel is not opening smoothly.

Display dim / Manufacture & Extended warranty

I bought this oven in Aug 2024. The display is very dim and I called the service center to open a claim. Then, when the repair person come and they said they left because they can't find a parking in my neighborhood. Then, I called and the service center found me another company. I was told that they ordered part and they had not received it. I was patient and waited to the call. Then, a month and so, I called Sharp to find out the status of my claim. Then, they said that the claim is closed because they could not get a response from me. They did not follow though till the repair confirm the service is complete and replaced. Then, I tried to open a clam with extended warranty I bought. I was told to call these companies from Sharp service center. These companies do not have my info about the extended warranty. It has been a week and I still can't have a claim open to fix my dim display.
