Microwave convention doesn’t get hot enought

Although every microwave in America regardless of npmanufacturer is made by Sharp, this one was unique as it was a convection oven. As an architect who spec these appliance and installed it my own kitchen, the convection oven temperature barely gets to 300 degrees. The microwave doesn’t have a rotating table so it doesn’t heat food evenly and quickly. Did Sharp engineers ever test this? I highly recommend NT purchasing this unless Sharp comes up with a much higher wattage unit.

Not what I hoped for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am finally getting my dream kitchen and wanted this microwave for my island. 1. I was disappointed there's no turn table. 2. Its only apple friendly, no app for Android, ALL of my appliances including my W&D have an android app. 3. I can't get the Wi-Fi to work, it says its on, but it can't get any "information" and "firmware" downloads. 4. I didnt know it wasn't non-stick, I always use a cover, but my husband isn't as concerned because he never cleans the microwave anyway. I think I would have considered another option had I known about the turn table and the WiFi.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Display dim / Manufacture & Extended warranty

I bought this oven in Aug 2024. The display is very dim and I called the service center to open a claim. Then, when the repair person come and they said they left because they can't find a parking in my neighborhood. Then, I called and the service center found me another company. I was told that they ordered part and they had not received it. I was patient and waited to the call. Then, a month and so, I called Sharp to find out the status of my claim. Then, they said that the claim is closed because they could not get a response from me. They did not follow though till the repair confirm the service is complete and replaced. Then, I tried to open a clam with extended warranty I bought. I was told to call these companies from Sharp service center. These companies do not have my info about the extended warranty. It has been a week and I still can't have a claim open to fix my dim display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If zero stars was an option…

I was so excited for this product when we finally decided to remodel our kitchen. It’s been nothing but disappointment since. It’s marketed as a multi function microwave drawer, and it performs poorly across the board. The air fryer sucks - took me 45 minutes to make chicken nuggets and they didn’t even crisp up. They just turned into gummy, dried up pucks. Using the preset produced soggy nuggets. It takes forever to heat up food, 3x as long as our countertop microwave. And don’t even get me started on the popcorn. Popcorn button was useless, so I figured I’d just enter a time. 7 minutes and it still only popped 1/3 of the kernels. I had to pop 5 bags to make enough for my 3 kids. I even bought different brands thinking maybe the kernels were stale or old. Save yourself the heartache and buy a different microwave.

Best brand ever
