Product slow in every mode, now completely broken

I was excited about the combination of a microwave, air fryer and toast option. Sadly, this purchase has been a dud from day one. All functions are so slow - probably double what they should take. Cannot even pop a bag of popcorn. The product is now completely broken. Strongly recommend against purchasing.

I was so excited for this product when we finally decided to remodel our kitchen. It’s been nothing but disappointment since. It’s marketed as a multi function microwave drawer, and it performs poorly across the board. The air fryer sucks - took me 45 minutes to make chicken nuggets and they didn’t even crisp up. They just turned into gummy, dried up pucks. Using the preset produced soggy nuggets. It takes forever to heat up food, 3x as long as our countertop microwave. And don’t even get me started on the popcorn. Popcorn button was useless, so I figured I’d just enter a time. 7 minutes and it still only popped 1/3 of the kernels. I had to pop 5 bags to make enough for my 3 kids. I even bought different brands thinking maybe the kernels were stale or old. Save yourself the heartache and buy a different microwave.

Great Appliance, but difficult WiFi Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I recently remodeled our kitchen and were perusing our local appliance store for new updated culinary instruments. This Drawer Convection Microwave Model SMD2499FSA is beautifully designed, constructed and engineered. The features on it are clear and very useful!
Our ONLY difficulty, calling no joy, is the WiFi feature on it that doesn't seem to work, no matter what/how hard we try. All of our other appliances are connected to our home network successfully with this one exception.
Other than that, this instrument is a great buy. Happy Cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the middle of gutting and remodeling my home of 38 years when the appliance selections hit a snag. The Sharp Microwave Convection oven I had always wanted got horrible reviews! I had used the exact microwave at my brothers farm. It was wonderful, easy to use, versatile and hundreds of options. My contractor told me to trust my gut and so I purchased it. The first one sent from Amazon came with a crushed in box and had to be sent back. The second one came from Best Buy and it was perfect. This is my opinion, some people buy appliances based on 1 feature but I bought it for all the features! It Defrosts, Reheats, Cooks, Convection cooks, it even softens ice cream to the perfect temp. I can’t say enough about it. It’s wonderful!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what I hoped for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am finally getting my dream kitchen and wanted this microwave for my island. 1. I was disappointed there's no turn table. 2. Its only apple friendly, no app for Android, ALL of my appliances including my W&D have an android app. 3. I can't get the Wi-Fi to work, it says its on, but it can't get any "information" and "firmware" downloads. 4. I didnt know it wasn't non-stick, I always use a cover, but my husband isn't as concerned because he never cleans the microwave anyway. I think I would have considered another option had I known about the turn table and the WiFi.
