This type of washer don't buy

this collection is terrible! washer and dryer always shows problem. After got this new machine(only use few times ), first is the door can't open, and the machine can't work well. we are waiting too long to have a local technician fix it(parts exchanged) and after about half year, the washer and dryer stop working again!! and we have to pay a lot to fix it or purchase again the extend insurance. how I can imagine to buy a combo insurance every year, we have to pay hundreds dollar and I am worried about next year we need to fix those stupid machines again! no more cover, unless we pay the customer service person is nice, very patience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A nice washing machine when it functions.

This washing machine did a nice job while it lasted. Unfortunately, after only 5 months it stopped working. It only turns on and locks the door but doesn't run any program. Service is scheduled for over 3 weeks after opening a service request. And that is only the appointment for the technician to come to check it out. I'm not sure when I will be able to use this washing machine again. Poor quality and poor service, while I thought Whirlpool would be a good choice.

Terrible functionality- Constant Glitches

Absolute junk!

This washer is the biggest piece of junk. The quality is horrible! We had it in our vacation condo and it hasn't been used much and already it needs a new computer. Reddit has pages of reviews and discussions with the same issue. I am surprised this washer hasn't been recalled because clearly it is defective. The positive reviews on here use it in an RV so I'm sure after a second camping season and a few uses they will have the same issue.

Piece of junk

I bought a 2.0 cu whirlpool washer and it's now 9yrs. The machine is a piece of junk. Several times I had problem with clothes soaking wet. Tonight I had to wring water out of my clothes. This is annoying.

Problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit came with our new RV. It is stuck in a cycle and cannot use it. We only used the washer one time to make sure it was working........ Second time - won't work!! Tried to call and get help.... Never could talk to a real person...... totally frustrated!!

Bought Whirlpool washer, dryer, dishwasher, and Refrigerator-freezer a little more than a year ago. That was stupid. Bought the extended warranties. Thinking that was smart. No problems so far with dishwasher or fridge (crossed fingers) but washer does marginal job of cleaning clothes (cannot use bleach) and dryer takes forever to dry clothes. Six months ago dryer stopped working and control components needed replacing. Took weeks to get parts and fixed. Last month washer stopped working and control components on it needed replacing. Again, weeks for parts and repair. All this for controls that are difficult to use. Thinking of saving laundromat expense and aggravation by pitching these in the ditch and replacing (not Whirlpool).
