Don't Buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer was included in my brand new construction luxury condo in Hawaii. However, the washer broke just 1 month after the 1 year warranty period was over. Many other condo owners in the same development reported similar defects just past the dismal 1 year warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fixed now but down in 3 loads

Broke in the first 3 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer came new in my Tiny Home - within 2 1/2 months of normal use, it malfunctioned and is unusable, and requires repair. The warranty repair service is proving to be a long, drawn out process, with miscommunications about model/serial #/washer model (even though the correct info was submitted in service request), and so far, 2 x week-long waits for onsite assessments and then service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a weird washer. There is only one water input on this machine. Never seen that before. The wash cycles are pretty long. The heavy duty cycles goes for 1 & half hrs. RIDICULOUS. It does wash the clothes pretty well but don't be in a rush as the washing cycles are long. The rise Cycle is pretty violent and loud. I would not recommend this machine..

A Disposable Product for the 21st Century

We bought this machine 4-years ago. The supplier, Bray and Scarf, would not give us a warranty unless we also purchased a matching dryer. They said this was Whirlpool policy. Regardless, after 4-year it just stopped working. The diagnostic performed by a whirlpool certified technician showed that the control board probably needs replacing. As this isn't made anymore all parts are hard to come by. Apparently the cost of finding, buying and replacing the board will be as much as a new machine. It seems that this is way it is these days. Any machine is good for 3 -5 years, then you throw it away and get another.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
