Neighbor was out of town, I mentioned (once again) how much I liked his Traeger grill... He said "sure I can borrow it..." seriously, bought one the next day for our house! What an amazingly, professionally built, perfect grill-smoker! My wife loves it, my kids love it, I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I literally cooked the wheels off my Texas Elite that that I had for about 6 years, I made the move to the timberline 1300. Don’t think think I have to worry about cooking the wheels off this one (much sturdier). The smoke output on this unit is incredible!! So much more flavor. I cooked a turkey for thanksgiving that was fantastic and a day later cooked a Texas style brisket for all of us. Turned out unbelievable!!! Took about 17 hours but was not only the first one I cooked on this unit, but the best one I have ever cooked, period.... Everything I have cooked on the 1300 has been fantastic. Brisket, turkey, chicken, ribs, pulled pork. Obviously more pricey than the Texas Elite was but well worth the money. I am definitely a believer

Here is what you need to know. Use the Traeger to cook for your loved ones immediately! In my case, it was my wife. Once she tasted the fare, she forget about the cost. I started with some salmon, a ham on Christmas, and have a pork butt on now. Can’t get enough Traeger meals!! Almost forgot the heads of cauliflower, nailed it.

Bought the Timberline 1300 to replace my 7-year old Lil Tex. It was tough to part with but I don’t think I could have chosen a better replacement. This is a Beast of a machine and has already exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to cooking more and more with each use.
