1. Your front tray is useless - Extend it another 4-6" or fit for purpose 2. Turn pellet top and wood board sideways so functional 3. Look at second grill grate from bottom - if left inside cannot turn food from bottom grill grate 4. When Super Smoke is turned on leave words on screen - "Super Smoke On" 5. Fix heat seals under hood and around grill better - Snaps come loose too much 6. Make WiFI easier - Why 2G and not normal house WIFI? Hassle to align up 7. Your accessories need some work - Spatula is good but tongs are way to stiff - Really not functional as designed 8. Fix placement of grease bucket - To get out you always spill grease - Straight in and straight out no need to tilt to get out 9. Hire design people who ask questions as if "they" we cooking - Not a bad idea

Great smoker poor technology

I got my smoker a lil over a month ago 350lb to say it’s well built is an understatement. Got everything together and did the first burn in everything going smooth. Decided to hook up WiFi and this is where It goes south. Get the newest update installed and boom stops working. Tried hooking up to two different devices with no luck. Not a big deal it’s a know issue it’ll get taken care of quickly right...wrong. Called support and after an hr on the phone trying everything it still doesn’t work no Big deal they’ll send a new one out. It’s been over 4 weeks and haven’t received anything so I call back and apparently the first guy didn’t write notes so now we have to go through everything again to make sure it’s not working. I work out of town and I’m only home a week at a time some now it’s going to be at least another month before I fully get to enjoy this expansion smoker. So in short if you want a well built smoker it’s worth It but if you want It for the wifi I’d reconsider.

Bought this yesterday used it for some light cooking. Liked the super smoke feature like the even heating and very spacious cooking area back draft exhaust is definitely the future of smokers. So the biggest problem I have with this grill is the finishing on the stainless steel part's. It's atrocious and for what I paid that's just unacceptable and makes me think if they couldn't bother with proper finishing techniques where else have they cut corners on this smoker. And I found it this Smoker is only tack welded no complete welds they sealed it with RTV and mine already leaks out of the box from a corner of the barrel. I will either return this and buy a Yoder. Or maybe fix traeger's mistakes.

Best pellet grill that I have owned! Only complaint I have is that I have tried everything, from watching all the videos to installing a Wifi extender and still can't get the WiFire to work. That's the only reason for the 4 rating and not a 5

The size of this grill is perfect for our family of 8. The display is easy to operate and the thing cooks like a dream!!! My one. Huge problem is the WiFire, it simply does not work. I saw some reviews with the same complaints before I bought it but I was hoping to be the exception. The programming they use needs to be fixed. I paid a lot of money on the 1300 and I did so because of the wiFire promise. I’m sadly disappointed.

Let's start with the cons #1wifire (wifi) doesn't connect lots of people have issues look up YouTube videos to see if you have the correct wifi it needs . #2 Buy a ash vacuum before your third smoke your gonna need it ,Or you won't smoke. #3 Buy lots of foil the drip pans get expensive I replace foil every cook so you don't get bad smoke from your last cook droppings. #4 Price, it's expensive but impressive buy a cover your have to. #5 doesn't count cause I knew what I was buying but I'm a big fan of open flame searing . Pros #1 auger /pellet chamber amazing ,display amazing, durable all around ,no smoke leaks #2 smokes are great very easy super smoke mode is beast. #3 easy set up do the burn off. #4 it's big you shouldn't have a problem smoking as much as you want. #5 worth the money if everything works like wifi ,I wouldn't take it back I use it for only smoking .
Ps. The grill cover is the best fit I've ever seen on a grill. Perfect clean smoke cooks amazing temperature is within 10 degrees really recommend this grill to anyone in really cold/snow states

So far I'm very impressed with this Grill. I've had several Traeger's over the years, and so far this is the best one hands down. First, it really holds the temps well. Previous models have struggled a bit, but this one really holds it well. Second, the construction is very solid and I like the seal around the lid. It will take at least two people to assemble, because it's heavy! But I like that, and means its very solid. Third, I really love how there is no smoke chimney. Instead it's even across the back. This makes it easier to put cover on, and does a better job of smoking! There are a few other great features as well so I'm very pleased. The only reason for not giving 4 stars is the drip pan underneath is a little weird. Time will tell how functional, in some ways I really like it, other ways i'm not sure yet. if you buy their foil covers they don't fit right, so I had to add my own foil as well. Which is fine, but just weird. Also, I'm still struggling getting the Wi-Fi to work. I'm fairly tech savvy (at least I think I am) but it had the grill as its own Wi-Fi - so getting it connected to the home network hasn't happened yet. Instructions are very clear and I love that it has a scan code on the inside! However, so far I don't have it working yet. So depending on drip pan and Wi-Fi this review could go to full 5 or down to a 3! But it is a great grill and I do recommend it.
