[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ignition cycle is slower than the older models. The pellet hopper could use some design improvements, seems the pellets tend to create a void area registering low palate supply when however it still could have 60% in the hopper. Those are the two reasons I didn’t give it five stars. Still produces great food like the older models and being able to control it from your app and continually monitor is a great feature!!!

Timberline 850 D1 is a Great Pellet Grill. I would recommend to anyone looking for a top notch pellet grill/smoker. Gets more than hot enough to cook/sear yet holds that steady temp for a low and slow smoke all at the control of your phone. The stainless interior cleans up great! I had to get the Control panel replaced as Traeger confirmed it was defective upon first setting it up but it was sent out under warranty in less than 1 week. Since I replaced the panel the entire unit has been GREAT. I have seen some condensation in the screen but its working fine. 4 stars on the control panel, 5 Stars on the Grill and Wi-Fire/Traeger App, 5 stars on Customer Service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this grill is the highest that I have seen. I am a contractor and have seen all brands/types of grills place in the summer kitchens and none have compared to the Timberline 1300.The body is solid and stable. The grates are heavy and well made. Assembly was almost seamless...due to the weight, I would definitely suggest an extra helper. The interface is self intuitive and easy to use.
Up to date, I have smoke a meatloaf (directly on rack), (2) Boston Butts and ribeyes (smoked and then reverse seared). All have turned out perfect, the meat loaf was a first for me and honestly it was the best meat loaf I have ever tasted. The pork had a great flavor and pulled with ease. The steaks had the perfect amount of smoke and were exceptionally tender. The reverse sear worked well on the steaks. This grill will reach a temp of 500+ degrees, which was my only real concern about ordering this type of grill. I would recommend this grill to anyone looking for the perfect all-around high quality smoker/grill.

I’ve had mine for almost a year now. Love it! Pizza’s to smoking chicken, pork or beef!
Especially during summer time when it’s hot outside. Or when you have other things to take care of or having some fun. It’s almost like set it and forget it. With it linked to your phone. You can see what the grill temp is, prob temp of what your cooking is. You can change it on the fly. It’s impressive for sure and a ton of features that come with the Timberline 1300. Great if you have a lot of cooking to do.

Bought this grill two months ago and absolutely love it. I had a 780 before which was awesome also. I have so much more room now and the door on the 1300 is much better. I would definitely recommend the timberline 1300.

I saw a Traeger on a add and had to check it out. I bought a lil tex model. I loved it. About 2 months later I upgraded to the Timberline 1300. I love this grill. I competed in my first competition and I was more than happy with my results. I love the versatility and convenience. The wood fired flavor is unmatched. I would recommend this or any Traeger to anyone and everyone.
