Just got my timberline to upgrade from a pro series. Love the grill except for the wifire. Cannot get my grill to connect and from reviews I've read it's a common problem. Hope you guys fix this issue.

I assembled my Timberline 1300 ( well, my friend did most of the work) over the weekend. This company is serious about their products. I have never seen such thick grill grates, and opening the lid is almost a two arm deal, its so heavy. Connecting WiFi was super easy, and I am looking forward to using the app for more than just notification that my grill has reached set temp. Sunday morning we cooked breakfast of hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon on it. For supper, bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breasts, with garden fresh baked potatoes, as well as Roasted Root vegetables. Both meals were outstanding. I wasn't so sure about the Premium blend of wood pellets, but they gave a wonderful sweet-smoky addition to the flavors of the veggies. I am looking forward to many years of awesome food from this grill! I would recommend this grill to anyone.

Worst experience ever!

We used to have a little pellet Z-grill from amazon and never really had issues with it so we thought we were gonna have a great experience with this fancy one....but oh boy, we were wrong. The grease catching tray is awful, it feels cheap and doesn't do a good job at all....catches fire all the time when making burgers. However, the worst part is the temperature; if we open the lid more than 3 times, the grill temp will never recover. After opening the lid too many times, the grill will throw a "low temp error" that will never clear unless you reboot it and even then it will still work miserably. we barely use it anymore since it's not reliable. I wish I could return it!! DO NOT BUY this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love everything about this grill!!! Plenty of room for anything your heart desires- fit a full spatchcock turkey with plenty of room for more. WiFire is the best- love that I can check it from anywhere. More than anything the flavors I get with this grill is insane. From burgers to brisket to cinnamon rolls and flatbread- anything cooked/smoked/grilled on this grill is amazing!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We just purchased our second Timberline 1300. This one is for vacation home in southern Utah. FedEx dropped it off just before noon. My son and I spent less than an hour assembling it. Really, the instructions are so well written and the parts are all numbered. Even the bolts and nuts are separated into phases of assembly. That evening we smoked chicken. The next evening we had pork ribs and smoked cauliflower. Sunday was beef brisket and burnt ends. I think we got it pretty well seasoned. We didn't do any reverse searing this last week but steak will never be the same once you try it on a Traeger.
The double wall insulation of not only the side walls but also the door make this pretty stingy with the fuel. The Wifire technology makes it so I could even take in 9 holes of golf while I was cooking dinner. If the cooking is moving too slowly, just turn up the heat from the golf course with the Traeger App on your phone. If you can't get back soon enough just turn the temperature to "keep warm".
The Timberline is the perfect blend of the old art of smoking with modern double walled construction and digital technology. I LOVE wifire technology! The Timberline 1300 boasts enough room to cook multiple courses for a large family with very efficient fuel consumption. The best compliment I could give would be: Six racks of baby backs - All gone! 18lb full packer brisket - All gone! Compliments - Still flowing! I'm not just blowing smoke up your Traeger!
As for the son who helped with assembly, he will be moving into a new home this fall. Guess what he wants for a housewarming gift. His brother has a Timberline 1300 just waiting in the garage to welcome him to the Traegerhood!
