The 850 Timberline is a very well built unit and pleasure to use. The features are excellent and simple to use. This was a big step up from my Traeger Pro 22 and totally worth the upgrade.

Super Happy Timberline 850!

Had for almost a month now. First thing I smoke was 16 pound brisket, 20 hour cook no issue, consistent temp. Having the Traeger app, pellet sensor made it a super easy process.
The app is great, my issue was it took me about 45 minutes to get it connected. But since I got it connected I have not had a single issue with it.
The only thing I wish was that I got the Timberline 1300 instead of the 850.

Grill will not maintain a steady temperature with temperature variations of over 100 degrees. On first use the grill shot up to over 560 degrees and shut down. Started rusting within the first 30 days.

Expensive? Yes, kind of.. Most expensive grill I've bought? Nope. Quality and satisfaction? Spot on, and I'm not the easiest to please. I've called twice with minor questions and both times have been quite impressed with service and a short wait time. You WILL need 2 people at the end of assembly to set the smoker upright but moves around on the wheels pretty decent. The app for the wifi is great. Get yourself a cheap or used shop-vac to keep it clean (I'm weird that way, sue me). The cover they offer is the best I've ever seen, worth every penny even though I keep mine indoors most of the time.
