I cannot say enough great things about this pellet grill and the way Traeger stands behind their products. I 've owned my Timberline for a little over a month now. It is literally used 5-6 days a week. I have a ceramic grill as well but I find myself utilizing the Traeger more frequently. So far I've cooked a brisket, steaks, burgers, ribs, and roasted vegetables. Everything has turned out quite well and hassle free to fire this grill up! This was far from an impulse buy as I put a lot of research into different models. Paying the extra price for the Timberline series was well worth it. It's built like a tank and maintains temperature spot on. The WiFIRE technology and mobile app are game changers for sure! There's nothing like having the flexibility to cook an awesome meal while you're carrying daily duties in life. Needles to say I'm pleased with my recent addition. If you're on the fence, it's an investment that you won't regret. Stay safe and God Bless!

I love my 850’s… yes, I have two!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I full willingly admit it, I have a problem! I’ve owned so many grills over the years it’s crazy. From Primo, to Pitboss, GreenEgg, etc… I can honestly say nothing compares to the build quality coupled with ease of use as these Traeger's! My only wish is that Traeger would come out with an iPad app. C’mon Traeger, you made an app for the watch… how about one for the tablet? I know the iPhone app will work, but you have to switch to portrait view to use it. Other than that, I really don’t have any cons on these grills. Some will ask, why didn’t you just get a 1300 instead of 2 850’s? Great question. The logic is, I’ve done a 23lb brisket on 1 of my 850’s (turned out amazing btw), and that’s probably the biggest piece of meat I’ll ever need to cook. Having 2 though allows me to cook everything I need for a meal outside as I can run at 2 different temps.
If you’re on the fence on whether or not to go with a Traeger, I can honestly say they are money well spent! Oh, and I did not receive an incentive for this review, but selecting “yes” that I did is the only option

Hotter Faster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Ironwood reaches the temperature I want faster! When I open the grill to check on the meat that's where this grill really shines - when I close the lid it used to take quite some time to regain the temperature I was after. Now within 2-5 minutes its back up to temperature!
I would recommend this to a friend!

WiFi won’t connect. Long story short. I paid a lot of money for a timberline 1300. Currently I am regretting my decision. I shouldn’t have to run through hoops to get features to work. Enough said

Please make sure that you use the 2.4Gh for WiFi connection if you have 2.4GH and 5GH. If you can find your Traeger SSID shows as Traeger-xxxxx on your WiFi list on your smartphone, it means the controller is working fine, in this case you may need to check your router and signal strength.

This is my second Timberline 850 and it’s the best Traeger I’ve ever owned. I’ve passed down to family members the other Traegers I’ve owned, still working and they love them. This thing will hold above 500 degrees in the Colorado winters and love the app features. Get one!

I have owned this grill for about a year now. It has many nice features and is very well constructed. However I have had one nagging item that bothers me every time I use this pit . I have had other brand pellet grills that did not have this problem and I expected more for this amount of money. The problem is the lack of consistent temperature control. I consistently see temperature fluctuations of up to 15 degrees on either side of the set temperature. It ought to be more accurate for this amount of money!
