Ranger - perfect little grill

Ranger - perfect little grill - We have used it at a time share and now we went on a road trip with our travel van. Put it in the rack off the bumper. Used it a few times and it was awesome. Cooked well and easy to transport. Uses little electricity. We just hooked it to the inverter in the van and it worked great. Held temperature just as long as you keep the lid closed as with all smokers. It was perfect size for my wife and I.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you dont read any of my reviews again please read this one . I have the trager ranger and I absolutely love it great product I’ve made pizzas, casseroles, steak, breakfast pretty much everything and it works great. I love trager as a company I just hope they keeping doing what they’re doing and DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN CONTROVERSIAL POLITICAL VIEWS .it seems like every major brand is but trager I’m hoping y’all as a company follow the hint and just stay neutral like y’all have been I don’t want to have to stop supporting a product I like because they get wrapped up in politics I hope this message/ review catches y’all early enough so y’all don’t end up bud lighting yourselves

The grill is great but I ordered 2 bags of pellets which still have not arrived. It's been over a month now. Kinda hard to use the grill without pellets and at no point during my order was I told pellets were out of stock or on backorder.

Ranger temp control
on June 16, 2018

I received my Ranger Thursday and finally got a chance to set it up today Saturday. I did the initial heat up to burn residue. I set it for 450 and let it run longer then the 30 min just to check temp. It never got higher then 457 or lower then 444. That is only a 13deg variation from set temp. My oven probably varies that much. I am very impressed so far. At 5 pm it will get the Porterhouse Test. Stay tuned... With that kind of temp control I bet it would do a really good job at beef jerky. Of course using minimal temp.
