This thing wets the air up pleasantly, moistly. Fixed the electrostatic shock issue that has been plaguing my apartment. I would recommend purchasing this item if you are suffering from dry and electrified air. I am a medical doctor, physicst, and climate scientist. Gray is actually spelled "grey" in my country.

great features but turns off randomly

this humidifier is so easy to use and clean. however, within the first month of using it, it started turning off on its own when the water tank is loaded. really annoying when i wake up with it off and a mostly full tank.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

used it for a week and it's stopped working

We've been using this humidifier for a week. We cleaned it carefully following the instructions in the manual. When we put it back together, pressed the button, the power button blinks but it won't go on. Then the light stops blinking. In the manual there is nothing in the troubleshooting guide to solve the problem. We've followed the manual, taking water out, putting it back in, making sure that nothing is set up wrong--nothing.
Even if we solve the problem, this humidifier is far too expensive to be so delicate. I've never owned one that was so fussy. We will be returning it.

Great product

I bought 1 of these this winter snd quite honestly for the price, and it was 1 of a very few models in store. Used it right away and found it easy to clean, humidity level and smaller tank are perfect for a single bedroom. Diffuser feature is a plus. Overall very happy with it. So much so i ordered another for another room.

You Can Find a Better One

I don't love this humidifier. While it actually functions well, the cool mist and the mist speeds are nice, the difficulty of upkeep outweighs the benefits. I find it hard to clean, especially the base. I take it apart and rinse everyday to allow the pieces to dry between nightly uses, and fully clean it the recommended every three days. The mist tube has nooks and crannies that are prone to pink mold, but that are very hard to get to even with a Q-tip. The lid has two small holes in it that allow water to fill its hollow belly when it's being rinsed; it is very hard to shake the water back out and I don't think they even serve a purpose in the machine's function. The base is the worst. The float in it is hard to get under to clean and the attached plug makes rinsing more difficult than it needs to be. This would be well served by one of those detachable plugs, like the kind most electric percolators have. I find myself using this less and less because I don't want to have to deal with cleaning. I would not buy this again.

You have to refill this humidifier many more times than I had originally thought. The tank is quite small and so far it's needed 2-3 refills per day. My other humidifier has a tank that is 3/4 larger and runs for days. It isn't even dry in the apartment yet, so this product isn't going to work if I have to keep filling it. And really, who has time to empty and clean before each use? And spend money on distilled water? I am returning the second one I bought.
