I love it, except...

This humidifier is solid. You are supposed to change the water daily and rinse and wipe out the base every three days. The mold problem reported by another user is probably user error. I haven't had that problem at all.

You Can Find a Better One

I don't love this humidifier. While it actually functions well, the cool mist and the mist speeds are nice, the difficulty of upkeep outweighs the benefits. I find it hard to clean, especially the base. I take it apart and rinse everyday to allow the pieces to dry between nightly uses, and fully clean it the recommended every three days. The mist tube has nooks and crannies that are prone to pink mold, but that are very hard to get to even with a Q-tip. The lid has two small holes in it that allow water to fill its hollow belly when it's being rinsed; it is very hard to shake the water back out and I don't think they even serve a purpose in the machine's function. The base is the worst. The float in it is hard to get under to clean and the attached plug makes rinsing more difficult than it needs to be. This would be well served by one of those detachable plugs, like the kind most electric percolators have. I find myself using this less and less because I don't want to have to deal with cleaning. I would not buy this again.

great features but turns off randomly

this humidifier is so easy to use and clean. however, within the first month of using it, it started turning off on its own when the water tank is loaded. really annoying when i wake up with it off and a mostly full tank.

I am buying my second Levoit humidifier in a month. I am judging it on sound alone - there is none - compared to humidifiers I've been using all my life. This one is compact, looks good, and sits silently in the corner. Can't testify to the humidity it's creating, since our heat just came on in Chicago, but I don't think I'll be disappointed. I still can't get over it's silence!!

this humidifier is SO EASY TO USE. No tanks to fill in a bathroom sink that is too small!!! Top pour is perfect. I keep a gallon jug of distilled water nearby. Full, it will run for 2 nights on low and it really sends the moisture out into a large bedroom. no dribbles, nothing gets damp. Just so much easier to breathe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this is a humidifier and diffuser combo. I don’t have to worry about having two separate devices cluttering up my small living space. I mainly use it in my bedroom but because of its compact size, it is very easy to transport to other areas in my home. I am very pleased with how quiet it is. It does not disrupt my sleep at all. It works very well at dispersing mist to help keep moisture in the room and that helps keep my skin hydrated and me breathing better during the night. I love that by adding a few drops of essential oils to the water in the tank it can give my room a nice relaxing and fragrant atmosphere. This humidifier/diffuser combo is very effective at restoring moisture and providing aromatherapy to any room that I place it in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Levoit - Levoit Ultrasonic Top-Fill Cool Mist 2-in-1 Humidifier & Diffuser about a week ago and it was easy to set up and the Instructions were easy to follow. I was amazed at how much difference the cool mist humidification made my sleeping more comfortable . I would alway wake up with a stuffy nose / mouth and scratchy eyes. I have now used it for a week and it definitely has helped make my sleep a whole lot more comfortable.

First of all it is BPA free,ETL certified and CA65 tested making it a safer product for everyone. It also has auto shut off whenever water is low or empty. Advanced Ultrasonic technology makes it produce a fine mist and be whisper quiet. It has intelligent sleep mode. Top-Fill functions allows easy fill and clean up. You add the essential oils to the base of the machine. I couldn't be happier with my 2-in-1 humidifier and diffuser.
