So quiet! So smart!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I've never seen an AC this quiet. And second I love being able to control it with my phone or using my voice and smart speakers. Or turning it on half an hour before I get home so it's nice and cool when I walk in.

Quiet and efficient

Needed this in my life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About a month ago, my husband and I purchased this new Frigidaire gallery 8000 btu for the quiet-feature. We had a 10 year old Frigidaire (same btu) that was loud and was always running to be able to cool the space down at all. With COVID we are now working from home and sitting next to the loud a/c all day was driving me crazy. I am so happy we decided to get a new a/c. It is definitely the quietest a/c I’ve ever been around and it seems to be much more effective because it doesn’t have a problem cooling our living room and when you set the temperature to 74, it actually gets the room there and keeps it there! It’s been such a life changer and I no longer have to think about the air temperatures. The included Frigidaire app only supports a couple of schedules, but I hooked ours up to Alexa and was able to add all of the schedules I wanted to (allow the temp to slightly raise at night, pre-cool in the morning, fan on low during working day, fan on auto after work etc...). One thing to note is that it was a much bigger unit than our old one, but we were able to install it just fine. It was worth it, even though we made this purchase in August. (Only 2 more months that we really need an a/c here). Great purchase!!

Exactly what I was hoping for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous window unit was a “cheapest of the cheap” model that was so loud I used to wake up with ringing in my ears. I looked up quiet models and purchased this one. The difference is night and day! I’ve been able to turn down the volume of my morning alarm, I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. I am beyond pleased with this purchase.
I have seen reviews on other sites that say they run into issues a few months after purchase and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it stays wonderfully quiet for years to come.

Bummer since it was over 100 degrees here in Texas! Really liked the Midea's quiet feature and wanted something close. Frigidaire fit the bill nicely.
Quiet, features I want plus more, COLD air, STRONG fans, quick cooling of the upstairs bedroom. Menopause step back......Frigidaire to the rescue!
Very happy with the purchase and HIGHLY recommend.

Extremely Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 weeks ago to replace a 20+ year old unit that was just plain tired. When I initially turned it on it took probably 5 min till the compressor kicked in, I was worried that I'd gotten a defective unit. After it did finally turn on it got really cold, the unit is extremely quiet to the point where if you don't know it's turned on because the display turns off automatically after 30s you have to put your hand in front the vent to feel the air coming out! It has WiFi control but that's not something that made me purchase this unit, I wanted a quiet unit and certainly got that! So far I'm very happy with my purchase so time will tell how reliable it is.
