We are sorry to hear that your heating pad has an F error. That is certainly not the experience we want you to have. There are several causes for a flashing control or a control displaying “F, F1, or F2”:

1. The product is plugged into an extension cord/surge protector and not plugged into a direct wall outlet.
2. The product wasn't plugged in properly.

To fix this problem, do the following to reset your product:

1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.
2. Unplug the cord from the actual product itself (if your product has a detachable cord)
3. Replug the cord into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete. (if your product has a detachable cord)
4. Re-insert the power cord back into a wall outlet.

Your Sunbeam® Premium Heating Pad with XpressHeat® has a 5-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, please reach out to us via our Contact Us form on our website. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time.

Once twice three times a dead heating pad!

This is my 3rd Sunbeam heating pad. It works fine for 8 or 9 months. Suddenly the flashing F comes in after I begin the heating process at 1 progressing to 2 it begins flashing.
Have tried the reset procedure along with other instructions suggested by another owner of the heating pad on YouTube. It is not working yet.

Always disconnects from power

I generally like this heating pad. It's soft and I appreciate the various settings. BUT. It's incredibly annoying how often Sunbeam's heating pads become disconnected from the power connector. Really annoying. Time to switch brands because this has happened with every single one I've ever owned.

Does not last long

I have bought two of the heating pad xl and they both broke after about two years don’t have my receipt for them. So I can’t return them. Use them every day until the first one just died so then I bought another one and it did the same thing. I would not recommend buying a sunbeam heating pad.

Highly disappointed! Do not recommend.

Within only 1 month of utilizing my heating pad. I noticed that the intensity of the heat had decreased and within days there after, a flashing F consistently showed and wouldn’t disappear. I made multiple attempts to reset the device are instructed from the troubleshooting advice and to no avail , my efforts continued to fail. I’m truly disappointed as I’ve been in pain and thermo therapy is imperative to mitigate the pain.

They all broke

Me and my family have bought about 5 of these over the years. Every single one of them stopped working after a few months to a year. I love this heating pad and how the controls are set up, but I just wish they would last longer for as expensive as they are.
