Another one busted ughhhh!

This is my 4 purchase of this Sunbeam heating pad. Just like with the other previous ones, the infamous blinking F is flashing. I’ve tried the resets suggested on here but nothing. It couldn’t choose a worse day to shutdown. This is beyond frustrating and I’m so over using this particular brand going forward. Short life span, unuseful instructions on how to “fix” them, waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for contacting the Sunbeam®. We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced with your heating pads that has an F code flashing. That is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help.

There are several causes to a flashing control or a control displaying “FF, F1, or F2”:

1. Product is plugged into an extension cord/surge protector and not plugged into a direct wall outlet.
2. Product wasn't plugged in properly.

To FIX this problem, do the following to reset your product:
1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.
2. Unplug the cord from the actual product itself (if your product has a detachable cord)
3. Re-plug the cord into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.(if your product has a detachable cord)
4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.

Your Sunbeam® Premium Heating Pad with XpressHeat® has a 5-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below to help you get to the best resolution. Have a good day!

Super Warm Didn't Last

I bought a replacement Sunbeam xpress on heating pad because it is awesome. Gets warm immediately and lasted for years. The replacment not so much. Heated up immediately but gave me a F error after a few seconds. Unplugged it and error goes away only to appear seconds later. The pad part is great - the controller portion not reliable at all. Mad.

Not as good as other Sunbeam products

I have bought a few products from Sunbeam and have good experience with their quality. That’s why I chose Sunbeam again when I bought my king size heating pad couple years ago. However I have same experience like other reviewers. The heat pad suddenly started flashing "F" on the display screen. I unplugged and re-plugged but it only lasted for a few seconds and stopped with F. I only used the lowest heat level 1 or 2 to warm up for easy sleep during the winter. My sunbeam water boiler lasted 10+ years but not the heat pad.

I've had mine about 2 years. Worked great. I get the F often, I unplug it, tighten the connections and repugnant. Usually works a charm. But now I'm getting the F and nothing I do is making it go away. Sucks because i otherwise really liked this. I see it's a common problem.
