I have been getting muscle soreness from daily walks and after I get home I sit with this on my lower back. I love the different settings it has a and that it heats up almost instantly once I turn it on! It truly helps and is amazing! I love the soft plush that is on it also! And it is extra long so it almost wraps completely around me covering my entire lower back. It is perfect!
I would recommend this to a friend!

With the multiple heat settings and a moist heat option, this is a very good thing to keep around. This size makes it easy to apply and reaches a pretty good amount of area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this heating pad to use on my hips, lower back, and upper back. It does a very good job! The extra-large size is perfect for what I need. It heats up quickly and the cord is long enough to reach where I need to. Very nice heating pad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn't really time it, so 2 mins and 2 secs, is only me guessing. It did heat up really fast. I wish instead of 1 - 6 it actually let you set a certain temperature. I feel that knowing the temperature it's set at helps regulate it better. I will use the hand held thermometer to see the temperature for each number level. Wish it was bigger. You thought the XL would be able to fit around me if I wrapped it back to front, so that it would heat back and front, but it only goes back and stops at my side. Guess I would need a XXL. I do like the way it doesn't get to hot to where it would burn me if it touched my skin. I don't recommend using it without having something between skin and the pad.

I like my heating pads to get warmer than this one does, and while I like the idea of auto-shutdown, I wish it went a bit longer than it does. Still, I will use it when I need a little heat on a sore spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sunbeam Xpress Heating Pad is very soft and does the job. I am very impressed at how quick the pad heated up versus others and the relief to my aching calf muscle/leg was quick. The cloth covering the pad is soo soft and velvety :-). The control is quite intuitive and easy to use. The design of the control and layout of each button was made very well to compliment the pad. In all, this heating pad by Sunbeam is quite impressive and easily provide relief. Sunbeam for the WIN !

Perfect Size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not had a new heating pad in years. I was so impressed with this Sunbeam XpressHeat Heating Pad XL. My old pad was much smaller in size and had a plastic enclosed heating element with a flannel like pillow case cover over it. This pad is large 12 x 24 inches, and the heating element is incorporated into the cover itself which is plush and soft. You can disconnect the cord, and the pad is entirely washable which is a great feature. The size allows me to drape it on my shoulders or place it on a large area of my back or stomach. It heats up fast, in about 30 seconds, and along with a 2 hour timer it has six heat settings. You can even dampen it for moist heat which makes it very versatile. It comes with a 5 year warranty. I am very happy with this Sunbeam product.
