Second purchase and ‘F’ is flashing again!

I suffer chronic pain and sometimes rely on a heating to stop muscle spasms or get to sleep. I had to go and purchase another one because my first one started flashing ‘f’ and I couldn’t fix it no matter what I tried. Now this second one is doing the same thing and I have only had it for 3 months! I have tried everything from plugging it into a dedicated breaker to to only running it on low to disconnecting and reconnecting to trying all the tips in the FAQs as far as holding down the power button to reset it and just keep getting the same thing! At this point I think I am just done with sunbeam! I don’t know what else to do especially since this is t my first time and it seems like a recurring issue throughout these reviews!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One lasted a while the others I ordered died early

I bought one of these back in 2014 and was happy with it. For that reason I went ahead and bought another. The one I bought more recently died within a couple of months. I sent that one back to get another and had the same thing happen... they both just shut off one day and refused to turn back on. Now the first one has the f code of death and I am really just disappointed in the product as a whole. It is a nice heating pad but they just don’t make them as reliable as they used to. For that reason alone, I will NOT be buying another one. I had more faith in sunbeam as a company, but I guess it was misplaced.

Best heating pad ever!!

I love this heating pad!! I mostly bought it for the "stay on" function because I don't like the automatic 2 hour shut-off that most heating pads have. This one has the option for both, you can do the 2 hour auto off, or the stay on. I also bought it for the non-removable cover because my previous heating pad had the removable cover that was only closed with a small button and the cover would fall down on the sides and expose the super hot pad, which I didn't like, so this one is perfect! It's completely enclosed in fabric, so you'll never have that problem! I also love that it's super soft and that you can wash it!! And it gets nice and hot with it's 6 heating levels. I've been using mine for 3 years now and I'm buying 2 more as back-ups just in case they stop making them! I love it!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Never Worked

I recently purchased the heating pad and like many of the other comments, the light started flashing within 2 minutes of it being on. (This happened on day one of using it.) I did all of the trouble shooting recommendations and still it failed to work. This product has been an absolute disappointment.

I recently received my replacement after sending back a heating pad that stopped heating up. Filing a claim was easy and, the replacement is alot better then the one i sent back. Very Happy Customer

Doesn't Work

Im so UPSET. I'm in soo much pain right now. From a miscarriage. I am a big cheapo I hate buying unnecessary things. Today I thought I'd splurge amd get myself a heating a pad. Unfortunately I picked out the sunbeam one. I REALLY WISH I WOULD HAVE GRABBED A DIFFERENT ONE. I brought it home. It heated up pretty good, maybe for 5 minutes? Idk. It wasn't long. It just stopped working. It will turn on for a quick second, then shut right off. Ive tried unplugging it, holding the power button, its just defective.. Im in so much pain, that I domt have enough energy to go buy a new one...It hurts to get out of bed..It hurts to roll over in my bed. I also threw the box and receipt away. Thinking I would not be returning it, because this is an investment for myself... And who thinks a brand new, descent brand would sell something that doesn't work??? If your in pain, and reading this review. Be cautious about buying this! It's not worth the hassle of going through this.

Stopped working and not safe

This stopped working after a few months (used a couple times a month). However, even when it was not in, the controller was hot to the touch. We’re just thankful it didn’t cause a fire.
