Two stars because when it works it's great

Just bought this a few days ago, and have only used it a few times. Left it plugged in, but turned off, and went into the room to find the notorious flashing "F" even with the power button OFF. Tried the "fix" and it works, but so far, every time I use it, I get the "F" at least once when using it, or even when turning it OFF. Not sure how safe this can be when it comes ON flashing an error code when the power button is off? I see from reviews that this has been an issue for YEARS! What the heck? Can this not be fixed? Wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Was so excited about the features this one has. So sad that it isn't working properly. Would love to understand why this continues to be the same issue with this product? So far It will eventually work for me, but sure is not easy having to unplug, take it apart and then put it all back together every time I use it. And, how long will it last doing this.

I sit on the ones I have and they perform for a long time.
Most of household appliances are thevSunbeam Brand.
My toaster, microwave, handheld mixer, my heated blankets and mattress pads are Made by Sunbeam.

I have used it now for a number of weeks. It is soft and flexible. Heats up quickly. Long cord is great - avoids need for an extension cord.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn’t get that hot!!! Iam a man we like it hot not warm

If the heating pad is not hot enough, we recommend a fold test.
Please see the steps below:
1. Reset first. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection 2. Check bedding product plug connection that directly plugs into the bedding product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete 3. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet 4. Fold blanket 5. Connect control to blanket and plug into a live outlet 6. Turn control to “HI” and wait 5-7 minutes 7. Put your hand between the folds and you should feel warmth
***Remember, the automatic blanket is not a heating pad – it will not feel hot to the touch when laid out flat in a normal manner. *** Warning: This folded position is an abnormal condition. Do not continue this test more than 7 minutes.

Keeps Shutting Off

Bought one yesterday. It sometimes will stay on & the other times it keeps shutting off even when it was only on for 20 min. Not worth the price. Will be returning the one I bought to the store today.

Buying second one for mom works fine ... very good for winter months

This is my third one. they are great. One died with a contril issue, but it was promptly replaced under warranty. Best heating pad ever!!!
