Heat pad begins to work quickly and appears to maintain heat well. One noticed drawback: it seems after about one hour of heating it begins to cool. I simply turn it off and set it to the desired temp and it is back to heating.

Purchased two heating pads for Christmas. My husband and I love them and use them every night. A heating blanket wasn't feasible since we sleep with out Golden Retriever, Linda. The King Size XpressHeat Heating Pads provide six settings of warmth all night using the "stay on" option. Always had good service with Sunbeam. Only had to replace one heating pad after two years. Keep receipt, and Sunbeam will honor the five year warranty. We are happy with our purchase!! :)

I have health issues so I use a heating pad almost everyday, all year long. I've been using this Sunbeam King Size for several years now and they are the best. Heats up fast. Love the large coverage area. You can easily wrap both arms in one. I finally decided to get 2 of them to eliminate moving them around. One on the couch and one in the bed. Great for arthritis and Fibromyalgia sufferers.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who gets awful back pain and was excited for him to use it. However, once turned on and left for awhile the heating pad didn't get nearly warm enough to provide relief. Disappointed because I was so excited to borrow it from him for my pains too!
