Controls needs to be further down the cord for easier use for people with disabilities. I can only use it when someone is with me. It is useless for me. I barely use mine. There is no way to attach to the chair. Mine is on the floor 98% of the time.

I just want it to work.

Before last week, my back had never been in pain. I tried hot compresses, and they worked, but didn't last. I'm a security guard, so I'm on my feet eight hours a day. I received this heating pad as a gift, and at first, it was amazing. My back felt great after using it! That was until I came home after this monumentally long day and plugged in the heating pad to see a capital "F" appear on the controls.
This had happened a few times before, and I knew I could unplug the unit from the wall, and the control from the pad itself, to fix it. (Yes, I know to connect the control to the pad before plugging it back into an outlet.) Nothing. I've tried a dozen times at least to get this pad to work, and nothing. I know it's going to be a busy day at work tomorrow, and I just wish this product would work.

Stopped working 1st day

This is the 2nd heating pad I have bought within a month.The first one started flashing F the 2nd time I used it. With the high price and sunbeam name I thought I just got a lemon so I got another one today and it has done the same thing. I am very disappointed! I like the size of the pad and the speed it heats up but this is not acceptable.

We have been using them on our sore spots (back, shoulders, butt, etc.) for several years now but unfortunately they keep konking out on us after a while... maybe because we sometimes sit on them. Anyway, purchasing them direct from Sunbeam is much cheaper then getting them from our local drug store chain. They do a real nice job and I highly recommend them.
