I loved this heating pad however, I had it less than a month and it started displaying a flashing F and quit working. My husband baught me a second one and it didn’t last as long as the first. Very disappointing.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear about this. Our product are made from high quality materials and we expect them to last. If the heating product is not heating, try the following steps: - Unplug the heating product from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds - Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating product - Verify the connection between the heating product and the controller is tight - Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or extension cord - Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional - Try plugging the heating product into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet
If these will not resolve the issue, please send us a message via live chat here on the site and we will get you all taken care of. For your convenience, we are available Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, EST. Have a great day!

How to fix F - fault problem with Down button.
on January 18, 2024

I had the same problem as others with the F - flashing, even after unplugging and plugging back in. I had a doubt there was an issue with the heating element itself. But I think I found a bug in their electronics controller it seems.
So after plugging in and pressing Power, I noticed: - says 8 (startup) - quickly shows 4 (less than a second) - then starts flashing F - faulty.
I decided to do it again, and plugged it in: - pressed Power - then quickly and repeatedly press the Down button - it drops to 1 - it's working!
My guess is heat counter gets stuck in a state greater than 4, which would trigger the F - faulty. The Down button is still able to trigger in that small window the 4 is showing, bringing it back down to 1. It's a weird problem, but appears to be a bounded number issue you see in computer science.
Otherwise, it is a great heating pad my wife has been using for several years.
I love this heating pad and cannot be without it so I purchased two. This really is the best heating pad that I have ever found. Thank You

lights up when turned off

Bought this to replace another model king size Sunbeam pad because it died after a year which seems to be happening to a lot of them. Its a shame as they are WONDERFUL. When this new one is turned off the controller windows light up for a second or two every now and then. I use the pad so often that I don't unplug it. Its not an "F" that shows up; the entire pad just lights up and then goes off. Is this normal? Should I always unplug it when not in use? Instructions do not say to do that.

I also got the "f" displayed after a short time of use, maybe 2 months, I inplugged it from the wall and plugged it back in and it was fine. I initially unplugged it from the pad, and that didn't work. You must unplug it at the wall and plug it back in
