It gets an "F"
on September 21, 2015
Posted by: Jag0706
I just received this heating pad and
upon plugging it in, the letter "F" began flashing in the control screen and it doesn't work.... It sounds temperamental and I doubt I will order another one after I return this one. Bummer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can understand your disappointment, and I'd like to share some info which may help you. If the heating pad is flashing 'F', try the following:

- Make sure it is plugged into a working outlet.
- Try this reset process: Unplug the heating pad from the wall, then disconnect and reconnect the cord from the pad. Then plug the heating pad back into the outlet and try using it again.

If these tips don't resolve the issue, please contact us at 1-800-435-1250 for additional assistance. We're here to help you Monday-Friday 9am-6pm Eastern.

Worthless doesn't last

I have RA and use a heating pad when joints are aching sometimes daily depending on weather and activity. First time I bought this heating pad it was over a year ago. decided on it because it came covered not like the cheaper ones with the case that the heat pad slides into and snaps over it. Within 6 months it quit working. About 3 weeks to one month ago I decided to give this Sunbeam a second chance. Bought same heating pad. After several days of using it I turned it on this evening, sparks & smoke (electric short) came out of the controller (on/off - Temperature) of course pad instantly stopped working. I won't be wasting my money on this or any other Sunbeam heating pad. Advise anyone else considering buying this to not waste your money. Heating is just like all other heating pads that are much cheaper. Price is ridiculous for no longer than these work. .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
