Not a good product

I bought two of these in the last 24 hours, each one at a different store. Had to return the first one because it didn't work. Now will have to return the second one tomorrow because it didn't work. Glad I bought a heat treatment that heats up in the microwave for tonight.

Bought it about 3 weeks ago! Went to turn it on again and the controller showed 'F' in the window! Would not recommend this product!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear about this. Our product are made from high quality materials and we expect them to last. If the heating product is not heating, try the following steps:
- Unplug the heating product from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds
- Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating product
- Verify the connection between the heating product and the controller is tight
- Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or extension cord
- Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional
- Try plugging the heating product into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet

If these will not resolve the issue, please send us a message via live chat here on the site and we will get you all taken care of. For your convenience, we are available Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, EST. Have a great day!

Works great, until it doesn't.

I've had 3 of these, and they have all failed. They work wonderfully until you get a sudden flashing letter and they are dead. I tried everything I read to fix them online and nothing. I love heating pads, medically I need one much of the year, consistently but none have held up. Extremely disappointed because I love these heating pads.

Like Most Others - Short life span

Within the first couple of weeks, started with dreaded flashing F. I'd unplug it and it work for a 10 minutes or so and start flash again. Now, It just flashes no matter how long or how many times unplug it.
I don't care about the warranty - Its a defective product, and it'll only be replaced with the same defective product.

Reading the reviews, I am not the only one with a problem. The second night, it started blinking "F". Tonight, 2 weeks after purchase, unplugging it doesn't work anymore. I won't do this again.

Thank you for contacting Sunbeam®! We are sorry to hear that your Sunbeam Premium Heating Pad with XpressHeat started flashing F and the reset did not work. This is caused by the cord not being tightly connected to the pad or if it's plugged into an extension. We suggest you to perform the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.
2. Unplug the cord from the heating pad.
3. Re-plug the cord into the heating pad and make sure the connection is secure and complete.
4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.

We hope it helps!

Being a chronic pain sufferer I'm constantly using a heating pad. These heating pads suck. They never last. Every couple months I get the F error code. I've also received replacements and the same thing.

1. Turn the heating pad control to the "Off" position and unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. Let it rest for 2 minutes.
2. Check if there is no physical damage on its cord.
3. Check the product plug connection that directly plugs into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.

Thank you for contacting the Sunbeam® Brand. We appreciate your time and effort for bringing this to our attention and we are sorry to hear that your heating pad started to have a flashing “F” on the controls. It's definitely not the experience that we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help.

If the control is blinking or flashing "F", the unit is not heating or not powering on, it might be because the unit does not establish a secure and enough electricity connection from the power source.

It is important that the unit should be plugged into the wall outlet and not to any substitute outlet since all heated products have higher power requirements.

Please check for any possible physical damage on the unit or cord and try the following troubleshooting steps below if there’s none.

1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.
2. Unplug the cord from the actual product.
3. Re-plug the cord into the connector, making sure the connection is secure.
4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.

Note: Power strips, extension cords, surge protectors, adapters or other such electronic devices may negatively impact the performance of your product. Power fluctuations from your power company due to inclement weather will also cause this issue.

If the above steps will not work and if you have any questions regarding the warranty or would like to obtain warranty service, please contact Sunbeam® directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below so that we can provide you with a better solution.
