Bags work well, but they’re SO expensive compared to normal bags just because they have the unique design.

Overpriced and annoying to use

These bags are 6 times as expensive as bags from other brands. That means even if your insurance covers the cost of the pumps, it’s much more expensive to use the Willow pumps. The bags also ship extremely slowly..

A perforated opening line to open the bag with out scissors would be ideal. 1- you don’t have to make sure to find clean scissors 2- you don’t have to find scissors at all.I’m not sure why but the bags tend to blow up with air and cause the pump not to finish the cycle. Probably user error, still figuring it all out.

Poor shape

The bags are ok. The major concern is that their shape is awkward and they don’t lay flat to freeze. Space is already at a premium in my fridge and this doesn’t help.

Leaks

I’ve had trouble with the bags. I’ve ensured they have all been properly stored in the freezer, laying flat and milk evenly dispersed, but almost 50% of the time, they leak after they thaw out. I just empty them into a standard milk storage bag immediately now. Frustrating to waste and spend so much money on the willow bags.
