Spill proof is a lifesaver!

I LOVE the convenience of pumping on the go with these bags! I have a very busy job so every little bit of time counts to maximize my pump breaks. After pumping I can just put these bags directly into my cooler and don’t have to worry about transferring milk or cleaning containers in between pump sessions!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Want to love them

I have had a lot of issues with these bags. No matter what I do I get air in the bags. I have contacted Willow several times and tried trouble shooting with videos and recommendations they sent me but nothing works. I bought an extra package of bags before this issue and now am pumping and cutting the bags open right away and pouring them into another bag to freeze. It’s such a waste and a bit frustrating. I purchased the pumping container and am waiting for that to see how that goes. Hoping it works out.

I’m not sure if the bags changed or if it’s the new flanges they have now but it is so hard to properly get the bag into the flange and it stay contained in the tiny edges of the flange. The magnets will barely stick to the pump now.

These things are amazing for the Willow 3.0 pump. It’s been a year and I’m still pumping, there’s no way I would have made it long without the freedom and flexibility that these pumps/spillproof bags allow! I’d call these a true “must have”. My baby spent 57 days in the NICU as a newborn. These allowed me to pump on my drive to and from the hospital, giving me extra time with my little guy. They came in handy when I returned to work. And, they’re handy when I put my baby down to nap and need to wash bottles, vacuum, run errands, etc.

I find I get more milk when I use the bags than the container! Worth spending the extra money to get more milk instead of washing the containers!

I love the pump! The one way valve is great and prevents spills! I do wish that the little bit left in the flange would be sucked up into the bag, but we have managed to make it work by pouring it into bottles. The bags are a little tedious to get into the cup just the right way. Almost seems like too much bag for the room in the cup. Maybe there is a more intricate way to put them in the cups, I just haven't ready that or found out the little hack.

I enjoy the mobility these allow

I really like the mobility these provide being spill proof. However, a lot of air is brought into these bags, along with the unique shape making it difficult for freezing and other storage means. I also find that the valve tends to stay covered in milk after I remove it from the pump making for sticky hands and a bit of a messy take down after you’re done with your pumping session. This would be adverse if you’re not at an area where you can easily clean, for example pumping on a road trip. Additionally the pumps only allow ~4.3 oz to be stored during the session, if your tend to produce more from each breast then you have to replace the bag and continue pumping. This takes more time, effort and the additional bags for storage. Even with the low volume I do find the flange can be detached from the pump due to the bags inflation. Over all I do think these are an okay buy for the mobility purposes, however storage and clean up can be improved.
