If I turn off the laptop overnight I have to run a diagnostic on the keyboard to get it working again. Touchpad too. Every time. Annoying. So I just leave it on. Still annoying.

I selected the Nightfall black/modern walnut finish and am very pleased. The 4k display is just amazing. The keyboard is great. My only concern is the walnut finish seems to show fingerprints/skin oil.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love HP and once again I got exactly what I wanted. I ordered a custom laptop with the i7 CPU, 16gb RAM & 500gb SSD. It has outperformed my last computer by leaps & bounds. It is quite, quick and doesn't get too hot to keep it on my legs while writing research papers and attending online live classes. I've only used the Pen a couple of times, it's different than using a Samsung Note pen. I'll get used to it eventually. I probably won't buy any other brand ever again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything worked with no effort on my part in regards to setup. It has a nice screen and is everything that I expected. It is relatively lightweight and good for my needs. No need to contact support on anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, I did receive a defective laptop. The trackpad mouse. Would always stick and the H key on the. Keypadad clicks when depressed, Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed, especially since my laptop was a custom model. Which I had to wait additional time to receive. Fortunately. HP was quick to resolve the issue. I have sent the laptop Back for replacement and I am waiting for the replacement. The representative was helpful, efficient and point.with procedure to replace it. Kudos for not not taking thru the wire
