I just got the Envy x360 and am very happy with it. I do a lot of photography and the screen clarity is fantastic. I think I am going to use the ability to fold it over for use as a tablet a lot since I am also an artist.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-ed0056nr is a great notebook. Pretty fast and a gorgeous screen. The slim bezel makes the whole computer to be pretty compact which I love it. The fact that it is convertible and I can use as a tablet to sketch or watch movies is great too. Hinge is a bit flimsy, but that's the nature of the convertible hinge I guess. It's acceptable. If you do a lot of video conferences and hit your desk a lot it could be a problem but it works for me as I don't do much videoconferences and I have a sturdy desk. I did find the touchpad to be very finnicky and inconsistent to click. The bottom area is more compliant and the upper area is pretty stiff. It will also sense my palm even if I'm not touching it. That bothers me to the point that I'm willing to call HP to check if there is a fix for it. Overall a good buy.
I like the HP ENVY x360 Convertible laptop, but it has some pesky issues that often come with new computers. One is that the computer inexplicably blanks out, as if it has gone to sleep, but getting it to wake up is a challenge. It finally comes back, but I'm not sure what action actually does it.
The second issue is the phantom cursor movement. That is usually easily addressed by disabling the touchpad while typing, but touchpad settings are not available on the Envy. I checked for a software update, but the computer says it's already up to date. So, I'm dealing with a cursor that jumps around, highlights and deletes text at random, which is enormously irritating.
I've also searched the internet for a solution on this, but none of the solutions work as they invariably try to steer me to a Touchpad Settings tab in the Mice and other pointing devices section of the Control Panel, but that Touchpad tab isn't there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this laptop for about 3 weeks now and is by far the best laptop I've ever used(personal & work). It far exceeds my expectations in every way. I can't believe it was delivered to my home in only 3 days! And it's ultra-fast, ultra-small and lightweight. The 15" display is the perfect size, and the integrated Bang & Olufsen speakers are to die for. Just be sure to update all device drivers as soon as you can and you're golden.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, camera video during virtual meetings was grainy/snowy and face was red tinged. After hours of troubleshooting on my own and hours establishing contact and working with a live support technician, it was determined that something was wrong with the operating system. I am now without a laptop and am waiting for an exchange to arrive. So disappointing, since this was not an inexpensive purchase.
