[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a couple of months ago. Love most of it. It's fast, ridiculously clear, and convenient. Two things though. My last (much cheaper) ENVY had one finger scrolling on the touch pad and this much more expensive one does not. Really annoying to lose that feature. Also this new one has fingerprint recognition for signing in. It’s a great idea but does not work after the laptop has been powered down and then back on. It on.y works after using a pin. Kind of defeats the purpose. Tried all of the suggestions and yet still have to type in a pin after restarting.

I especially like that I can make both my husband and myself Administrators, so he doesn't have to ask me to do things for him. The woodgrain look in the mousepad area looks really nice, and I like the updated HP logo on the cover.

It has cool features like touch screen, covertible that appeals to younger generation. I was considering between Spectre and Envy, and this model is like good value for money especially for education laptops.

I have had some issues with the touchpad response, but I think I have it set up properly for me now and I'm much happier with it than I was at first. I would have appreciated a basic "getting started" pamphlet that would give an overview of its new features, but everything else was great.
