Beautiful TV, but the new mount is awful

i want to echo what the previous reviewers below have stated about the new mounting hardware.
upon unboxing i saw the new mount had been split into two pieces and new immediately it was a dud. beyond the annoyance of positioning/leveling the clamps in the back slide so i have little faith in this wall mounting process.
samsung, please address this issue. it's clearly a problem and such a shame, too, since the functionality and use of the tv is incredible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stunning TV

pros: - the tv itself is stunning - the user interface is great - the art mode is amazing - storage space no longer an issue
cons - the new mount is tough. it allows you to slightly change the level after it is already hung, so maybe that is why they switched. it does not need to be perfect because it does allow changes after hanging. it is hard to get it to click into place after it is hung. - the one box is big and heavy. samsung previewed a new thinner version for some tvs - youtubetv app goes black when you switch channels and not work again. you go to settings and reinstall the app and then the app works again. samsung needs to talk to youtube and fix the problem.
my wife thought this was a splurge when i purchased it, but she loves it and won't let me ever buy a "normal" tv again
I would recommend this to a friend!

No wall mount for portrait any TV

there is no wall mount for this samsung television. or any samsung that allows the televisions to be mounted in portrait (vertical) mode. the promise was that one would be released this year. still none. i am sad.

I love to cast my laptop to it as well when I'm doing my class work or attending my live lecture classes! It looks super clean its like I'm right there right in thr mix! Would recommend it to anyone who is a samsung lover!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as me and my wife baught this tv it hasn't been turned off i love the picture quality for game day my wife lives the fact that it looks so real she knows what the meals she is learning off of her cooking shows is suppose to look like to the very last detail. And are two boys just love how real it is for the grand theft auto games...
the instructions for this tv are certainly not clear. you are lucky if you hit two studs perfectly where you want the tv. i suggest going to the hardware store and getting dry wall achors. it took me about one hour to figure out how to mount the tv. there is a template included but trying to use that and make it level is difficult but not impossible. i wouldn’t go too crazy trying to get the template level becuase you do have a good amount of correction once its hung. just need to make sure you get the height correct. once hung it looks beautiful. so thin, and near flush to the wall.
