Amazing gift!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this as a gift for our friends and their 3 girls! Beautiful sound and image quality. They needed an upgrade to 4K and Smart TV life. Easy remote controls and with a simple user interface. Settings are very user-friendly, all ages will have no trouble. Best choice ever.

"A Problem occurred during Rotation..."

When rotating from PORTRAIT to LANDSCAPE an audible indicator followed by a pop-up ERROR MESSAGE: "A Problem occurred during Rotation. Please solve the problem and try again."
An End User solution is required in order to achieve LANDSCAPE by the application of consistent pressure to edge of TV Screen guiding the direction of the rotation.
However, if this application by the End User is interrupted before the rotation to LANDSCAPE completes the screen orientation immediately returns to PORTRAIT.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations

The colour in the television is very sharp it jest stand out just perfectly. The money's I spin on this television was well spent Again great picture which is important and what you looking for when you are watching television.

Beautiful, but always broken

absolutely do not buy this tv. it's beautiful. and when it works, it's a thing of beauty. but it rarely works, and samsung keeps pushing out updates to the software that breaks critical funcitonality.
e.g., right now, it can't play a slideshow. which is the whole reason you pay extra for this tv! and support is useless...all they do is tell you to factory reset, then sit with your broken tv for months and hope it gets fixed in the next update (and nothing else gets broken).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Frame TV. I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties with the Art Mode Slide Show feature. Please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1805.4 which includes various performance and usability updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.

If you are still experiencing issues after performing any necessary firmware updates, please try the following steps:

- Reset your TV's Smart Hub. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Reset Smart Hub. Please keep in mind this will be sign out of your Samsung Account and all of your apps, not just the one you're having trouble with. Make sure you have the current login information for all of your accounts before you proceed.
- Refresh your TV using the SmartThings app. From the Devices tab, swipe down to refresh the device list.
- Delete and re-add your TV on the SmartThings app.

Thank you for purchasing The Terrace TV. We appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you are experiencing with turning your TV on. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

1) Make sure that the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet.

2) Make sure that the wall outlet is working and the power indicator at the bottom of the TV is lit and glowing a solid red. If it is off, the TV either does not have power, or it is on and the screen is black. If it is blinking, your TV may need service.

3) Try pressing the TV Power button at the bottom of the TV behind the Samsung logo to make sure that the problem is not with the remote control. If the TV turns on, your issue may be with the remote control.

If the issue persists, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

Great picture

It’s was taken out to be repaired I uesly have it set at 20, and sometimes I would go to 100 to hear. Now it’s worth then before on 20 to 100 there mounts is just moving so sounds.
