Something very unique.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sero I have is a very unique television. I had a DirecTV fell and tell me that it was something he's never seen before; that's pretty awesome considering the features. I really like how I can view vertically when I connect my phone. Sound is pretty powerful, so that everyone in the room can hear. I do wish it came in a larger size, but it works for me. I like that I can use the device as a floor model, I don't have to worry about it falling over. If it included a webcam it would be the best TV I've ever owned, but it's my first digital television and I really like it. Hopefully this inspires you to check it out and see for yourself what the Sero is like. The spinning feature and the many apps that are already available without download make this a special buy. Try it for yourself and see what you like.

It's amazing and love how it looks like a picture frame and how you can add your own artwork. TV quality and resolution are great. I've been buying Samsung TVs for years and this was a great purchase. Definitely great value to go with the frame if you are considering getting a new TV.

Great Device, Software needs help

i like this tv. i purchased the teak frame, and it looks good in our room. the screen is a little glossy, but the tv has a solid picture and is somewhat easy to use.
but, the frame art software is terrible. sifting through images is very slow, and why am i not able to set the tv tot art mode on a schedule??? why can i just not set the tv to turn on automatically at 8:00 am on shuffle my art? just not possible. if you turn it off at night, it stays off until you turn it on. this should be on a schedule. for those that say, well, you can automate this in smart things, you cannot. you can set the tv to turn on automatically in the morning, but not in art mode. you can do it on ambient mode, but not art mode for some super odd reason.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To optimize the Smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

The design is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only reason I purchased this TV is because of the design. I didn't want a regular looking TV placed on a TV console or on the wall. It turns out this is the only TV that fits the description. Sure, I could've went with a rollable TV from the competitor but my last TV from that brand had OLED burn issues, so can't make the same mistake twice.
The Serif has a great design. That's it. The picture quality is nothing different than any other similar TV from the competitor. Is still bloated with Samsun apps which I don't care to use. 5 months after the purchase I am still waiting for the firmware update to bring Google Assistant to the TV. Why? Again, I don't care to use Samsung apps which are duplicates of similar apps from Google.
Why is it that this TV doesn't support One Connect Box/cable just like the Frame? It has the same artistic design and being able to use only one cable from the TV to the box makes a lot of sense. In your marketing pictures there's only one cable coming out of the TV. The reality is different. And yes, I am aware of the cable-hiding suggestion along one of the legs from the stand. It's just not the same.
The frame and the stand feel and look cheap. After all, they're just plastic. Maybe put some thought in the materials used.
Overall, a good TV with a design that will make some customers happy.

55” frame TV (2021) didn’t work out of the box

right out of the box the tv had power supply issues and would constantly turn on and off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please try these trouble-shooting steps: 1) Check the One Connect Connection Cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware by enabling Auto Update: Settings > Support > Software Update > Auto Update (you will need to be connected to the internet for this to work)
If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV may need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement.

Best bedroom screen you can get

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I told my family about getting a new TV, they didn't appear to be excited. However when we unboxed the sero, everyone wowed.
It's unique. We all love it. Portrait and landscape.
Now sharing a video I take in portrait is a family event we do everyday. 3 days after we got it, we start to share interesting webpages we found on our phone. I am shooting more portrait videos and this is a family time changer in this long, boring covid time.
4K QLED is stunning and the color is especially outstanding on this cute 43 inch. We keep the new Sero in our bedroom. It stands on its own and fits so well in both portrait and landscape modes.
The sound is very well tuned, a 4+1 channel is much better than any other TV on the market. TV-plus from Samsung gives us free news coverage so we could save the cable cost.
Overall very happy with it. Would like to see a more artistic ambient mode like the frame-tv has, and more customizable interface to use as a home information stand.

Best TV I've ever had!

This TV is entirely unique and the picture is gorgeous. I wasn't sure how I would like the rotating screen but it's so easy I love it.
