Bought for the 'upcoming' thread firmware update, but the Stage Scene Controller works very well via bluetooth in my house! I also do love that this is a native HomeKit device.
Setup and adding to my Home was simple with the NFC tag. Updates are done through the same Home app and are also easy. I like that I don't need to install another app to keep firmware up to date. Buttons are programmed directly in the Home app (or any third party app like Eve) and can be set to individual devices, groups of devices, scenes or even shortcuts. Using a shortcut I have one of my buttons set up to toggle on/off a group of lights!
I'll admit the first day setting up and using this device was a bit touch and go. But since I've mounted it on my wall in the same room as an AppleTV it's been lightning fast to set my scenes without yet missing a command input.

Awesome device - saved me in a 3-way switch crisis

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the potential of this device regardless, but when I went to replace some 3-way switched with Wemo’s offering, I saw I had no neutral wires for those switches. But since this stage scene controller can turn on and off other lights, you can set up a stage scene controller to do just that with the other switch. Having 9 total scenes you can set is all the better!

Fantastic Scene Controller

Works incredibly well and consistently! I have it in my living room to set a bunch of scenes (combo of philips hue and lutron caseta lights) and have never had any issues with it. It controls the living room lights as well as some nearby hallway lights and kitchen lights and to be able to control all of them from a tiny remote on my coffee table is incredible! The battery life could be better however. I had to change the battery after 4 months of use, but that was with the bundled battery so maybe with a fresh set it will last a little longer. I recommend it for any homekit household!

I've bought 3) units, currently using 2) of them. The two I'm using are on two different firmware versions. Both have the same issue in that the third button is unusable. If you try to use the third button it will override the settings of the 2nd button and then reshuffle all the shortcuts assigned. Additionally, there is a ~10 second lag between when button pushes will register to the system and the continued lack of update to Thread. All that being said, when they do work for the 4 (not six) scenes you can use them for, it is better than looking for my phone or calling out a HomeKit command to Siri. The wall plate with magnet in the remote is a nice touch. So in summary... hardware has promise, I'd just need to see the software/firmware get fixed to rate this any higher. At the moment it seems like Belkin has forgotten about this product.

Great light switch replacement

I’ve used a few of these all over the house for months now. They work well with HomeKit. Sometimes they take a few seconds to respond but they do the job!

Where is the Thread update?

I bought this product on 1/25/22 with the expectation that the thread update was available. I installed it in Apple Homekit, but no update to thread version has come through.
What gives?
