Maybe once it’s Thread-y

Maybe this will work better once thread is added but with BLE this is useless. Scene turn on about 4/10 times and even then with 5-10 second delay. Back in the box until there is a firmware upgrade. Avoid for now.

I purchased 3 of these for my home, to control smart devices. The concept is great! I searched forever to find a decora style smart switch that would trigger smart devices. You think that would be easy to find but it is not at all.
Well, this product works about 10% of the time. I'm using my phone to trigger the lights now which is much less user friendly. I don't always want to open my phone to turn the lights on quick to go in a room then back off.
Supposedly there is Thread support in the works... but thus far no date or timeframe is known by the consumer. Unfortunately I'm stuck with these for now since there is no other alternative and I modified the walls in my home to place these next to the standard light switch.
THANKS FOR NOTHING BELKIN OTHER THAN A HEADACHE AND THE NEED FOR SHEETROCK REPAIR.

Needs Thread

Until this product is updated with the Thread support they advertise, it barely even deserves 1 star. A light switch that works 1 out of every 5 times and takes an awkward 4 seconds to work after you press the button is utterly useless.

needs thread to stand out

This switch could be great but it needs thread enabled now. the bluetooth is awful and unreliable like all bluetooth smart home products. It looks great the magnet is cool. just wish the magnet was stronger as I often knock them off the wall while trying to switch them on or off.

The Wemo WSC010 Stage Scene Controller has a range of up to 30-foot, and the magnetic faceplate is strong enough to hold the Wemo WSC010. Make sure that the Wemo WSC010 is within range of the Home Hub so you can configure the Wemo WSC010. However, allow us to assist you further. Disappointed big time.

Not sure I’ve been this let down by a product in a long time. was waiting over a year for this product. Ordered it on day one. At best it works 1 in 5 clicks. Battery life was at 85% after day one. This is not ready for prime time.

Weak magnet, intermittent functionality

Starting with the mount: the magnet is too weak, and the sides are too sloped, resulting the the Stage falling out of the mount regularly.
Now to the functionality: it works less than half the time. Simply, button presses don't result in the programmed activity actually occurring. Hoping, like many here, that thread improves this behavior.
It's a lovely piece of hardware, though, and has a really nice feel to it.

Barely works

It barely functions. I can hit the buttons several times without any reaction. It’s quicker to walk across the room, unlock my phone an use the Home app. Maybe thread will improve it but without an ETA will return it
