[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is great. It couldn’t be better. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size. I should have bought the larger. It would have eliminated a few more trips to empty the container.

Great product - could be a little quieter though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The previous Frigidaire dehumidifier was a good bit quieter, this one has a unique sound that is somewhat irritating but it does a good job!

It sounds like the new dehumidifier does its job well, but that noise can definitely be a bit annoying, especially if it’s louder than what you’re used to. Sometimes newer models have slightly different fan systems or design features that can result in a change in sound.
It’s good to hear that it’s still doing the job, though! If the noise becomes a bigger issue, some people try putting the dehumidifier on a thick towel or mat to help dampen the sound, or even moving it to a different part of the room where it’s less noticeable.

Unit works great--design of bucket is lousy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd Frigidaire dehumidifier like this, so we knew what we were getting into. The unit itself works great. The major complaint is that the bucket is a terrible design. First, you have to pull the plastic lid apart to remove the handle so that the lid comes off. This feels like you are going to break the plastic. We just leave the handle off all of the time and awkwardly carry the bucket without it rather than try to take it on and off when we clean it. Second--rather than being like a bucket-- one big container that would be easy to clean- this one is shaped in such a way that there are a thousand tiny crevices that are nearly impossible to clean. We've used bottle brushes, toothbrushes--nothing reaches the mold and dirty water in those areas. And it's sharp. The plastic rather than being smooth and rounded has several extremely sharp pieces that stick out to stab you while you try to clean it. Whoever designed it clearly never tried to clean it or surely they would have come up with a better design.

A little machine that makes a difference!

I bought the one for 1500 square feet and wow it collects so much water. I can keep my AC on 77 and it is cool inside. My electric bill has gone down. I recommend it!

Working like a champ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a minor plumbing disaster and desperately needed a dehumidifier. I have had it for less than a month so I can't speak to durability, but the unit is easy to use and I have poured off many gallons of water it collected. It took about a week for the mitigation team to arrive and when they did they told me that things were looking pretty dry in the accessible areas (they had to open more wall so it's no replacement for pros). I'm glad I got it.
