Leaky! It pulls out moisture, but leaks.

Just bought this. The dehumidifier does a pretty good job of pulling out moisture, but it's leaking all over my floor. Double checked and the continuous drain port is completely closed. I may try some teflon tape on the drain port, but so far not looking good.

Frigidaire 22 pint dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The question is not "how is my dehumidifier doing?" It should be, How will it do in 2 years? I have had numerous Frigidaire dehumidifiers over the years and at 2 years - like clockwork - I get an F0 code and the unit stops working! It appears Fricidaire cannot produce a dehumidifier that will last more than 2 years! Here's a photo of 4 dehumidifiers, the one on the left is new and running, the 3 on the right are all broken!

Leaks water on the floor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Frigidaire dehumidifier 2 years ago with a 3yr warranty. This Summer when I tried to turn it on it gave me an error so I contacted warranty support. You can't call, you can only email. I sent them the info they needed, they then asked me for the same info again, I gave it to them again, they didn't respond, then I had to email them again in a week to ask a status and them asking the same info again. After more than a month of that they finally sent me this new dehumidifier.
The new dehumidifier seems to work fine at removing water from the air but it then leaks out of the continuous drain hole. It leaks with the drain cap on and it leaks with a hose in. I've now emailed warranty support 3 times over the last month since receiving this new dehumidifier and have received no response whatsoever. A dehumidifier is useless if all of the water it pulls from the air is just dumped out on your floor.
I hope someone reads these reviews because they obviously don't read their email. I am extremely frustrated and will not be buying from this company again.

Its a great Dehumidifier for my office/room that constantly keeps it at 35%ish Humidity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Dehumidifier back in may cause I work from home, and living in Florida the humidity is really really really high. I needed a work environment that had dry crisp air to work in so minimize sweat and overall it just feels really good. I run it 24/7 and empty the bucket when needed. Overall its great, the only issue I ran into is I decided to buy incense candles for my room and would use it all day. Over the next few days I started noticing My AC wasn't blowing as hard, same with the air purifier, and also the dehumidifier. The problem was that the Candle I got was releasing so much carbon that when I took the Filter out to clean and I clean it weekly. The filter was completely Black with Carbon, so be wary of burning Incense candles that release alot of carbon in the air cause in a small room it will quickly accumulate into the air filters and everything. I made sure to clean the Dehumidifier to get the Carbon soot off the Fins in the back and since then no issues. Also, be sure if you run it alot to clean the exit port from where the water drops into the bucket sometimes "GunK" over time can accumulate and block the water and cause to divert away from the bucket and off to the side. Thats to say as long you have common since and maintain it well you'll have no issues. The humidity in my room is low that when i go to other parts of the house my glasses fog up. so in a way thats a good indicator how well it works lol.

Very poor service

I received it August 6th won’t work called Frigidaire you promised I’d receive a replacement in 7 to 10 days I still don’t have a dehumidifier very poor service I would like to have my money back

BUT, the level switch interface is terrible. Mine bent on second tank removal/installation. I how have to use an improvised widget to install the tank.
AND after two months use, it now leaks around the hose drain connection. Which is tight.

Nice replacement, but less performance than what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a replacement of the 12 years old Frigidaire, because it was juts broken down. I feel very good impression of this old dehumidifier, so I picked up the new model from the current Frigidaire lineup. Then, since I was assuming that 70pt capacity of the old one is overkill for our current usage, I chose down-sized 22pt capacity here. In fact, fiirst I felt that this unit showed a bit lower dehumidifying power than our old unit. However, it turned out that I realized that it suffices our usage. Therefore, we are well satisfied with buying this model. This down-sizing would give us a couple of the benefits such as low electricity consumption and quietness. Just for your note, if you have a larger room, you might want to pick up a larger unit in the lineup, but it also depends on what you need with the unit. We keep dry in our small laundry room to complemet drying capability in the room. Overall, I am very satisfied with this smaller unit, which saves a lot of money as well as rather provides benign enviornment.

22 Pint Dehumidifier
