Was perfect at first, but then leaked water

Everything about this unit seemed great, and it worked perfectly when I had it placed on a rug in a basement room. After a few weeks I moved it to a room with a piano, and it was on a hardwood floor. It again seemed to work well. But, long before the tank was full [at only about a third full], I went in the room one morning to see a puddle of water on the wood floor. When I moved the unit I saw that it had been dripping water for a longer time directly under the unit, and it had warped and stained the hardwood floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier did a great job of getting the humidity out of the air and the room was much more comfortable but when it says auto-shutoff it means when the tank is full. So even when the room is at the correct humidity level it still runs.

Regarding your concern, we recommend for you to check if there any open windows or doors where the unit is running it may cause the unit to over run. Close all windows and/or doors near the unit. We need to make sure the unit you have is compatible for your room size. Sometimes dust and debris can build on the unit's grill. Use the brush attachment of vacuum cleaner to clean grill. Dehumidifier must be placed in a space that does not restrict air flowing into the rear coiler out of the front grill. The higher the moisture in the room, the longer the dehumidifier will operate. By default the Dehumidifier is set to Continuous Mode. Use the humidity button or knob to set a RH% higher level. Medium-sized dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to empty. Quiet and efficient. Easy to roll to a different area if needed. We have another Frigidaire dehumidifier that we’ve had for years and it works great, so when we needed a second one, Frigidaire was the obvious choice.

Great for Florida Summer

We typically get allergens in through the sunroom and garage, so one unit for each. It has drastically made a difference in our household! We saw and felt an immediate improvement in our breathing, in how much the AC was running. We bought the small ones because we are planning to run on continuous drip drain once we figure out where it is best utilized. We have brought the one from the garage into the main house and, no matter where it is, it has benefited us. It’s perfect for Summertime in Florida
