"auto shut-off" does not mean "auto shut-off"

BUYER BEWARE! The website for the Frigidaire 22-pint dehumidifier (model # FFAD2233W1) says "auto shut-off." I have confirmed with a representative that this does NOT, repeat, NOT mean that the unit shuts itself off when the desired humidity level is reached. It means that it shuts itself off when the water bucket is full. BIG difference in your electric bill!

Frigidaire dehumidifiers

This was a replacement dehumidifier for one which lasted only a year.
Although the company is replacing this one also, I now have 2 dehumidifiers that I have to pay to dispose of. The company will not take them back. I am very disappointed with this company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in Florida, I would of liked for the working range of this unit to be higher than in the high 80F. Our temp. here is more in the 90F degrees and it will be useless during the summer months (when needed the most). My bad for not checking it before I bought it.
